Dr McDonald read my sleep study in June 2023.
Dr. McDonald did not pay attention to my sleep study test results. He read my 2023 sleep study results wrong, leaving hundreds of minutes of hypoxia out of his summary & diagnosis. My primary care provider MD found this error and ordered a new sleep study. I do not trust Dr. McDonald's name on a report.

Obstructive Sleep Study – Dec 27, 2023
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. McDonald?
Dr. McDonald took his time and did a thorough EMG. Provided a thorough, although somewhat mechanical, explanation of the results. When I asked about some signs and symptoms that were not explained in his diagnosis he appeared to discount them. I believe that he had latched on to a diagnosis early on in the process and was either unwilling, or incapable, of stepping outside of that diagnosis. A few weeks later I lost neurologic control of an entire muscle group, which absolutely does not fit with his diagnosis. I am seeking a different neurologist to re-evaluate and treat me.

Waited in the exam room for 1 hour. Was fed up and about to leave when Dr. McDonnald came in. He seemed distant and rushed, listened to my my backstory for why I was there but with little discussion or exploration. His exam seemed rushed and we went through my MRI with no findings. He confirmed that I had no neurological issues and hurried out to his office. Good news; poor experience. Probably be a good doctor, but poor time management and bedside manner led to a mediocre experience and review

After waiting months for an appointment, we received a call the day before my daughter's 7:30am appointment to tell us that he will not see her because she is under 15. How does staff not know this when booking the appointment?

Dr. McDonald lacks the basic deductive reasoning abilities that a medical professional should have in order to adequately do his job. When presented with very basic, logical ideas to move forward with diagnosis and treatment, he chooses instead to fall back on nonsensical alternatives that have very little correlation with the signs and symptoms presented. His refusal to hear sound reasoning and draw basic conclusions is severely lacking. I would never recommend him for neurological care.

Dr. McDonald was referred by my Primary Care Physician, whom also belong to CSHP. I left my Primary Care Physician due to poor service; in the year and a half I was under his care, I never met my doctor -- only his PA with the poor disposition. I can say the care and service I have received with Dr McDonald hasn't been much better. I have waited more than an hour to see him to spend less than 5 minutes with him. In addition he lives next to me and couldn't pick me out of a lineup.

This Doctor will send you to his horrible PA Jill C and she will say you are lying and faking your illness to receive attention this Doctor needs his licenses taken I am surprised he's still in practice especially with that horrible PA Jill it's such a shame that there are practices like this I advise to stay away from this office if you want to be treated with proper care and respect .
