I've been a patient of Dr. McAndrew for years. I'm so glad that I met him. He listens to me, he's very open with me, and the nurse that works with him (Adriane) is AWESOME!!!Best primary care doctor I've ever had.

My spouse has been seeing Dr. McAndrew for several years. Recently the doctor moved and my husband chose to see another doctor in the office. The new doctor asked him how he was doing with his diabetes. My husband said that he didn’t have diabetes. According to my spouses chart, his A1c has been high since 2018. When was Dr. McAndrew planning on telling him???? Obviously never! Thank goodness he switched doctors. Will never recommend McAndrews to anyone!

Uncaring
My husband was diagnosed with a large brain tumor after having a CT scan ordered by this doctor. He never reached out to my husband. Someone from his office called with the news. He was given very little information except the name of an oncologist who couldn’t see him for 3 weeks. Bottom line..if we followed this advice he wouldn’t be here now. I was able to contact Cooper and he was admitted to the hospital immediately and had surgery a few days later. Also the tumor was not cancer so an oncologist was definitely the wrong direction. Dr. McAndrew received all the updates and to this day has never reached out to my husband to see how he was doing. Cooper all the way for us…..

Too much to go into, here but in general poor interest in the patient's situations and Staff is REALLY uncaring and careless. Would never recommend to my worst enemy.

My husband went to see him about a problem. He said he felt that the Doctor was rushed and really did not take the time with him. I was recently sick. I was thrilled to be seen because I thought I had the flu and felt awful. The nurse came in and did all the regular stuff. I was running a fever. She swabbed my throat to test for Strep.The Doctor came in and confirmed I had Strep. He sat at the computer & prescribed antibiotics. He never looked at my throat, didn't check my lungs. He did nothing!

I've been a patient of Dr McAndrews now for 3 years. I recommend him to everyone I know. He is not your normal Dr you see these days that can be very dismissive and have you in and out of their office. Dr. McAndrew actually spends time with you and LISTENS to you.
