His office is terrible.
I saw the doctor two months ago. I was told the office had an RN who administers sclerotherapy to remove or reduce the appearance of spider veins. I booked an appointment two months in advance. When I showed up the RN said she was retiring the next day and patients would be referred to a completely different practice. I cancelled my appointment. The office knew about her retirement plans but scheduled the appointment without telling me. This was totally irresponsible. I wasted an entire day! Also, the office staff doesn’t answer the phone.

Don’t go to him
The doctors office lost my husband’s films. They were requested and dropped off again and the dr and his office never responded to phone calls.

Not just an expert in his field, the most caring human being we have ever met. We went to Dr. Maldonado to fix a mess that another doctor left in our grandmother. Dr. Maldonado cared for her as if she was his own family. Her surgery went well (not an easy surgery), and he even checking in on her several times with true concern for her well being. There isn’t a more skilled surgeon (most people would have turned her away), but he’s a good - no, great, human being. Would give 10 stars if we could.

I was using Doctor Maldonado and he put a stent in my thigh. I found him to be caring, spent time, and a good all around Doctor. I come from Queens Rego Park & I am changing Doctors. Reason being to expensive to travel into the city. Cost me $60 and that is before I saw Dr. Maldonado. Just to much money. Have to find as good a doctor as Dr Maldonado in Nassau County. Most of my Doctor are in the Quad or Marcus Avenue. If you can afford it, stick with him.

SUPPOSEDLY A GREAT DOCTOR..IF YOU CAN BEAR A 2 HOUR WAIT AFTER YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. BRING A BED , WATER , 3 MEALS WHILE WAITING FOR THEIR BEFORE THE DR SEES YOU. UNCARING RECEPTIONIST DOESN'T REALLY HELP . EXHIBITS PASSIIVE BEHAVIOUR.
