Dr. Thomas Lebeau, DPM

This Dr. refused to remove my nail beds. I continued to suffer from ingrown toenails for years until his associate, Dr, Schein appeared one day on a Friday to treat me. Dr. Schein immediately began procedure for nail bed removal (Dr. Schein is a good and honest man). I was told that my post op visits were at no-charge. Now, Lebeau's office is hounding me for the copays on those 'no-charge visits'. No charge means they are not expecting payment, and I will not pay, regardless of how much medical billing jargon they throw at me.

I have seen him Twice and gotten nowhere. He clipped a piece of nail off of my toe to 'culture' and charged my insurance $250 for 'surgery'. His lab also charged the same ($250) for a culture analysis. The next appointment (after waiting for many minutes) was to tell me it was nail fungus. No treatment or clipping of the toenails.He doesn't seem to be interested in treating the issue. The one procedure he wanted to do was not covered by insurance and he wanted $850. Will not go back.

Although Dr. LeBeau appears to genuinely care about his patients, the follow-through ensuring that I received the needed care was not there. After approximately a year of intermittent testing, no follow-up on some testing, and medications not being properly ordered for procedures, I still have the original problem that brought me to seek Dr. LeBeau's care. I had some additional health problems arise recently and now unfortunately, Dr. LeBeau is erring on the side of caution, and will not administer treatment at all. I am very disappointed, as had there been any efficiency in the office and oversight on the part of Dr. LeBeau, I would likely have been able to be successfully treated previously.

The best podiatrist in the St. Augustine area. He not only helped me with my feet, my orthotics changed my life! My husband attended PT at his clinic and thoroughly enjoyed the professional staff. A friend of mine attended his neuropathy clinic and regained a little more sensation in his feet. He couldn't believe it. I hear now he even has a vein clinic. He can do everything! I give my thorough recommendation to this clinic and professional staff!

Extremely efficient. Didn't waste any of my time. In and out quickly, but never felt rushed.

I have been waiting for over 2 weeks for results on a test. Cannot get through to either nurse or doctor. Unresponsive to 5 phone calls and messages for doctors to call me. Not impressed or happy.
