Bad Experience
I am in search of a new PCP as my old one moved to California. I went in for a new patient visit at 3pm. I spent 5mins with the receptionist. 5 minutes with the MA. I waited for the doctor for a couple of minutes. I saw him and was back at my car by 3:20. I'm all for efficiency but this wasn't that. After he mentioned weight loss surgery 3 times, and I told him I lost 80lbs dieting and exercising, he still pressed. For context, if I lost 80 more lbs I would be significantly under my target BMI. He doesn't know much about my family history or anything.I did not feel heard. I don't feel like he would take my concerns seriously. I do feel that he believes he's doing a good job. The kicker is that I received a bill from them after my insurance sent an EOB saying they've covered the full amount. Do yourself a favor find a doctor that cares enough to listen as well as get to know your medical history
