Dr. Kleinschmidt is extremely informative answers all your questions asked you if you understood or have any questions. He explains everything to you and he has so much patience, I asked the same questions over and over . Highly recommend him. He did the surgery Hernia on my husband , he was available to answer all my questions. Highly recommend him..

I could not be more pleased
I had a left side inguinal hernia that was giving me severe pain. Turned out I had 3 hernias. Dr T. Kane Kleinschmidt Fixed all of them and found another issue causing me pain. He did this all Robiticly. I had significant relief as soon as I woke up from Anesthesia. I’ll be gojng home 16 hours after surgery. I highly recommend him for his skill and bedside manner.

Streer Clear of this Surgeon
I developed a small right-side inguinal hernia. 15 years prior I had one on the left side repaired with a small incision at the site, sewed up, no mesh. No complications, no recurrence, minimal pain, rapid recovery. I requested a traditional repair. Dr Kleinschmidt insisted on a laparoscopic, robotic procedure using mesh. He refused my request for a simple repair, so I reluctantly agreed. Recovery was over 6 painful weeks. My peritoneal cavity was insufflated with gas. Several inch long incisions and holes on my abdomen. Lots of scars. After surgery my abdomen was distended and hurt. It hurt more than the hernia. I developed chronic, frequent hiccups and belching from the residual gas that cause shooting pain at the surgical sites. Significant edema at the site, larger than the hernia.

I want to express my gratitude and deepest appreciation for the great treatment and care that Dr. Kleinschmidt has given my adult son who has autism. Dr. Kleinschmidt is a very experienced and capable surgeon and has performed two major colon surgeries on my son. Dr. Kleinschmidt went that extra mile to do research to determine what type of treatment would be the best for my son’s complicated medical issues. My son’s behaviors make him a very difficult patient but Dr. Kleinschmidt has always been very understanding, caring and kind, and accommodating to meet his needs. I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Kleinschmidt as my son’s surgeon.
