Dr. Thomas Janssen, MD

I cannot be sure that Dr Jenssen even read my chart. He entered the room with a bad attitude and pre judged me as a welfare case. He treated me accordingly. He mis-diagnosed me completely and was rude and never even talked to me before he left the room. Now I suffer everyday because of this man.

He injected my left knee wth a cortisone shot. My last shot was august of 2022. Great success.

Annual visit for review of implants

Dr. Jansen listens attentively and asks appropriate questions. I have used him as an orthopedic doctor for 30 years and he has treated many of my friends very successfully. I appreciate his work and highly recommend him.

I have had 3 knee surgeries in the last 3 yrs, in addition to being a great surgeon and restoring my health he is also a very kind and compassionate doctor. I hope I will never need another surgery but if I do I will go to Dr. Janssen.

Dr. Janssen has cared for my orthopedic issues for more than ten years. I've always found him to be professional, caring, and very patient in explaining all possible treatment options.

FU tendon issue. Triggering.

I had my right hip replacement 5 years ago my right hip came out of the socket over 100”s of times, 8 months later Dr Jannssen thought maybe he should do a replacement. I went to McBride’s emergency room many times and every visit they sedated me, I would come home and it would be back out of the socket already during the 8 months I had to learn how to put the hip joint back into the socket. He had me going to therapy for my right hip then I went to his office for an X-ray the right hip was out of the socket. The right hip began to give me some problems a year and a half later but the pain would be intermittent and not severe. But now I have excruciating pain in the right hip on today’s visit my right hip wasn’t hurting at that time. He taken X-ray and an X-ray of my back and asked if I was having lower back pain or taken medications and I said no. He is requesting a MRI on my back and said if the back surgeon say it’s not my back, then he can do a right hip replacement again.

I have had 3 knee surgeries performed by Dr. Janssen. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He tried all options before suggesting surgery for me on all occasions. I will need 1 more surgery (knee replacement) and I will definitely have him perform it if he is still practicing when the time comes.

Dr. Janssen replaced both of my hips in June and December of 2016. The care I received from him and his staff was exceptional. The results have been life changing. I highly recommend him to anyone considering orthopedic surgery.

Dr Janssen preformed shoulder decompression surgery on me yesterday 2-14-17 at Surgery Center of Oklahoma. I must say everyone at the Surgery Center was awesome. So far my experience with Dr Janssen has been great he has been highly informative and strait forward. I will leave another survey when I get released as to how the remainder of my visits go.
