My husband’s hand is deformed because of this Dr.
He did hand surgery on my husband a few years ago and because he went on vacation he “forgot” to have him come in to take his splint off which resulted in his delay of PT. A very long story later PT never fixed it, his finger is stuck in a bent position with a ton of scar tissue rendering it unmovable and deformed. My husband is a musician and now has a disability because of this. Their follow up care is awful. Many people in the Reno area asked “did you get the father or the son Christiansen, don’t go to the son”this tells me this isn’t the first time he’s messed someone up. If you care about your hand, don’t go to this Dr.

Tom Christensen M.D., Open reduction and internal fixation, clavicle. Difficult surgery due the location of the fracture at the very end of the bone. Also an older active patient with moderate arthritis in the shoulder. Two surgeries were planned with a fantastic result, i.e. normal range of motion, and almost pain free 2 months post surgery. Highly recommended.

Dr. Christensen and his staff are outstanding. They called me the day before my surgery and helped me schedule my Covid-19 test to facilitate the surgery during a pandemic. I had minimal pain after a major shoulder surgery, which is his expertise. He replaced my shoulder and it feels so much better. I strongly recommend anyone to the Roc, especially to doubly fellowship trained Dr. T. Christensen.

My recent experience with the Roc and more specifically Dr. Thomas Christensen and his staff has been complete abomination. Never called the night before for my surgery to give me my actual surgery time! Than lied and showed how little they care about you. They dont.
