Wonderful
My daughter had 5 teeth pulled in Dr. Chiodo’s office 2 weeks ago. During our consultations a week’s prior, he spent a great amount of time explaining everything in details of the procedure. With that said, my daughter felt comfortable and at ease during her procedure. I truly appreciate it.

My dentist recommended that I see Dr. Chiodo for a CONSULTATION/excision of a fibroma in the inside of my mouth. When making the appointment over the phone, I was asked to provide my dental insurance provider information, which I did and when I went to the office for my CONSULTATION/excision, the staff made a copy of my insurance cards. I was then brought back to the examination room where I was greeted by 2 assistants. Dr. Chiodo then came in DID NOT introduce himself to me, asked me where the fibroma was and I pulled down my lip. Dr. Chiodo then turned around to the table behind him took at the numbing needle and proceeded to remove the fibroma. There was NO CONSULTATION. Then a few weeks later, I received a bill from his office for $850. I was shocked and called the office and they explained that Dr. Chiodo was not IN NETWORK with my medical insurance. NEVER in a MILLION YEARS, would I have thought to call Horizon BC/BS to see if he was IN NETWORK because this was a fibroma

He was awesome with my teenage son pulling his wisdom teeth. Made sure he was comfortable. Followed up the next day. Will definitely go back.

Doctor seems ok, but the fact that they will not allow a parent to be present with a 6 year old for an extraction is extreme. I know adults that have been able to have someone present and they expect me to leave my child, absolutely not. I'll save myself the anxiety and find someone who specializes in children and understands the need for a parent to be at ease. The office staff is horrible. They don't verify your insurance before hand because if they had they would have been able to provide correct estimate on the front end. Additionally, they are currently holding records despite me having proof of payment...we are talking less than $50. Lastly, the office is very dated (if I recall they may even have paneling on the walls) and the carpet smells.

I recently went to Dr Chiodo for the first time. I needed oral surgery and both my dentist and endodontist told me the surgery was complex. I was extremely nervous. Dr Chiodo immediately put me at ease. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do, what to expect and assured me that I wouldn't feel any pain. The surgery and recovery went very smoothly, and as promised, there was no pain. He is an amazing oral surgeon. I would highly recommend him.

I had a very bad experience with Dr Chiodo’s front desk. I made an appointment to see Dr Chiodo early last week. Then I called again last Friday and re-confirmed my monday’s (August 28) 3:30PM appointment with R... at the front desk. And she said come 15 minutes earlier and I said okay 3:15PM Monday August 28th is fine. Then I showed up at 3:10PM last Monday August 28 and they told me I was supposed to be there at 2:15PM. And they blamed me for being late. I was so embarrassed that I will

Poor bedside manor, not informing the patient of what the procedure entails. Also, hidden charges and additional billing other than what is pre-determined. As a hygienist who works for a local dentist I will be steering patients away from this office.
