He could have cared less about my COPD. A handshake, how ya doin and okay, see ya. I had mentioned I fell and hit my head the night before and actually broke the skin on my head. I know it's not his field of expertise, but I'm sure he could have checked to see if I had gotten a concussion. Didn't check my pupils or had me walk. As it turned out, later in the day, I learned I DID have a concussion. So much for his ethics as a Dr.

Remarkable
I had an initial appointment with Dr. Chandler this week. I was not only delightfully surprised but also relieved. Dr. Chandler is an excellent diagnostician and physician. I have a rare disease of neuromuscular transmission. Related surgeries and admissions for procedures are done at a teaching hospital in Durham NC. I see my neuromuscular physician there as well. One symptom became too severe to wait for appointments. As the disease itself is somewhat rare, certain symptoms are not seen often as well. Dr. Chandler integrated issues/symptoms that seem unrelated and put his finger right on the cause. For years, I have felt like death is looming over me, particularly the earlier time of the day. It was astonishing to hear Dr. Chandler explain so eloquently. The problem remains serious, however; I am incredibly relieved now knowing what ER to go to and who to call in the event of an emergency. The entire office staff is pleasant and very considerate. Thank you all!

Greatful Patient – Sep 23, 2022

Your office staff needs lessons on professionalism. If your staff stops a patient from checking in, the patient was still there on time. Get your staff to do a better and more efficient job. The patient is a customer and you are not providing quality service. The time of day doesn’t change because y’all can’t keep up. Your websites are unprofessional as well.

My mom had an appointment yesterday at 4:00, arrived at 3:30 to be stopped at the door to have her temp taken, asked if she had been vaccinated (she has), and was then asked to put a mask on (she did). By the time she made it to the front counter you CLOWNS told her she was late and wouldn't be seen!!! Are you serious?? This is how you treat a 75yo woman? If you knew what it took for her to even get ready and get herself there. The women at the front desk should be ASHAMED of themselves and I hope their mothers are never treated as poorly as my mom was. And to the infamous DR. CHANDLER, YOU SIR SHOULD BE ASHAMED AS WELL!!! And you guys had the nerve to call her today and see if she would come in today!!! THAT IS JUST LAUGHABLE!!!!!!!! I think you all need a new lesson on patient care. (If I could do NO STARS I would)

Dr. Chandler took the time to explain fully why I was referred to him for a Cardiac Sarcoidosis and I received the clearest explanation of any practice so far. With the relentless growth of this area (which is a constant issue discussed) and the patient to Doctor ratio at 1000 patients to each Doctor in SC, I guess we all have to be more patient or get on a plane and visit a Doctor in the north where they a losing population

I like Dr Chandler and appreciated the time he took to review my case. However, experienced the same situation as the October 17th review. Filled out paperwork at home that was emailed to me, but told I still needed to be there 30 minutes early. Ended up sitting in waiting room for an hour and 10 minutes before being called in.

Office staff is a bunch of clowns. After waiting 3 months to get an appointment. I was told if I fill out my paperwork at home and bring it in I would NOT have to arrive 1/2 hour before my appointment to fill it out. I arrived at my appointment time with paperwork filled out and was told I WAS A NO SHOW and proceeded to act like I had committed a crime. They would let me see the doctor, even though I was there at my scheduled time. Won’t be going back there. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Not at all impressed with this office. Patient care is not their priority. They do not return phone calls and scheduling is horrific !

My mother is a patient. She was told she was being referred to MUSC for an evaluation for lung transplants, that was September 30,2016. Yes I'm aware there was a storm or hurricane hit the area but should it really take 17 days for the fax to go through and registered mail. Oh but wait upon contacting the office several times and being lied to several times by a gentleman in the office, So yes I am an upset daughter that wants to know what the hold up is!!
