I have had a very good experience with Dr. Caleca. He is a fine doctor and I have complete faith in him, but his staff is another issue. I have been in customer service and had my own business for 45 years and I always would do whatever I could to make my client happy to work with them, things are never set in stone I was never told that I would have to pay upfront. I have other specially specialty doctors and they would always tell me. We’ll wait until Medicare pays and then will let you know what you owe. They have to agree to a certain amount to pay and they can’t pay any amount they want, so it makes me feel non-trusting of the whole episode I had so I went for my appointment not thinking I would have to pay anything for Medicare until they got their bill back or my payment back from Medicare. That’s always with every single doctor. that’s how it’s been so now I get there and they say oh no you have to pay 20% 20% of what it’s gonna be 20% of what Medicare will pay And I didn’t have that with me. I didn’t expect that no one told me communication is an issue so I told them I would leave my debit card and they could charge my Social Security would be there in two days and they could take it out. no, we can’t do that , so needless to say I went all the way over there and I couldn’t have my eyes checked so just to let you know I will never go back to that office ever and if you go there, I would be really careful and call and make sure you know exactly what you have to pay before you get there Was embarrassed and I wasted my time and if I was the person running the office, I would’ve taken the debit card. They had my license to see that it was me and I would have waited in charge the debit card knowing that Social Security is coming in and I would get my money , that’s what I would’ve done as far as reading the office staff they are not someone that I would ever want to hire for my business and that speaks volumes. My clients loved me. I went out of my way for them and that’s how it should be in every business.
