I would give 0 stars if I could
We saw Thomas Bellomo at Rady's Children's Urgent Care in Escondido for multiple (15+) bee stings. My son's face was swelling and had a fever. However, Thomas came in looked at his throat and said that it wasn't infected and there is nothing they can do about it. Go home and give him some Benedryl. He didn't answer questions and cut us off when we tried to talk. He was absolutely horrible. I wasn't going to leave there without something to help my son so I told the nurse to have him come back in. I wouldn't back down and he finally said he would prescribe some steroids "if that is what I want". If you have this doctor, ask for someone else right away! If you have to see him, make sure you advocate for your child. He was absolutely awful and does not care about your child's health or wellbeing.

Said my 1 year old had a cold
He took one look at my son and said my 1 year old had a cold. My son was having chest retractions, he did not care at all. Looked in his ears and said they were fine. Tested for COVID but refused to test for anything else. Negative for COVID. Sent us home with a cold diagnosis. Went to an urgent care a few hours later. My son had low oxygen and a temperature of 105*. The staff at the urgent care apologized for how I was treated at the ER even though they had nothing to do with it. They went ahead and immediately focused all their attention on my boy, gave him a breathing treatment to see if his oxygen would go up and medicine to lower his high fever. They listened and tested him for RSV, which he was positive for. Makes me wonder if we waited longer to take him would his lips have turned blue to low oxygen since Dr. Bellomo said he only had a cold and did not want to help him at all. And said his ears were fine, but my son had to receive 3 antibiotic shots at urgent care.

I took my daughter to St. Rose Sienna Hospital for what appeared to be a hernia on her her right side. Dr. Bellomo came in and said so your sick.... what's your symptoms. My daughter was quick to say I'm not sick. She proceeded to tell him she was having alot of pain on her right side and that there was a bulge there. She told him she went to the school nurse and she thought it was a hernia and wanted her to be further evaluated. Dr. Bellamo was rude and pushed on her side roughly. My daughter was hurting really bad. He refused to do an ultrasound and told me she had a bruise on her hip bone. When I asked for an ultrasound to rule out a hernia and to make sure there was nothing else going on, he said this isn't McDonald's and I have already ruled out a hernia. I then took my daughter to Henderson Hospital Er where the P.A and Doctor were concerned with the bulge. After an ultrasound it was discovered that yes she did not have a hernia but had a small tear in her stomach muscle.

Took my daughter to the ER after a fall and she couldn't walk. After a 2 1/2 hour wait to see a Dr... Dr. Bellomo came into the exam room, poked her knee with a PEN (yes, I said pen) asked her to try and stand (she tried) he said "It's not broken, if it's not better in a few days, go see your primary for a referral to an orthopedic. NO XRAY or EVEN AN ICE PACK was given. Seen the orthopedic 2 days later, TORN ACL, CARTILAGE & MENISCUS!

Horrible experience with Dr Bellomo. The doctor was in a huge hurry, only spent about a minute and a half with my daughter. Misdiagnosed her flu as a cold and we almost missed the window to give her the Tamiflu that was prescribed by her pediatrician. Bellomo was extremely negligent, was distracted, wearing a dirty old sweatshirt and pretended to sanitize his hands before and after seeing my daughter. I went to use the same sanitizer machine only to realize it was completely out. Stay away.

Received such poor service from Thomas Bellomo, MD. He was extremely rough and aggressive handling my child.Seemingly impatient and spoke over me. Didn't answer my questions and rushed out without giving me a definite diagnosis. I am dissatisfied with his medical procedures.
