Was referred to Dr. Bauer for two hernias. From the nurse to the doctor everyone was just so pleasant. Dr. Bauer made me feel very comfortable. He took the time to explain everything. Recommended leaving things as is as there are no symptoms or problems. He said one was very tiny and the other was one I was born with. I’m 79 years and have had no problem so far so I was very happy to hear that. His bedside manner was wonderful. Upbeat and very pleasant. His nurse and assistant were also great highly recommend him.

Dr Bauer operated on me for stomach cancer. I was very scared about surgery because i was never sick. He comforted me, and visited me every day in the 14 days i was in the hospital. I will never forget the support he gave me though this cancer and he removed part of my stomach and esophagus and the cancer never returned in the three years now. i would trust NO OTHER 5 STAR FOR ME......

In May, 2018, Dr. Bauer performed hiatal hernia surgery on me. It is the end of August and I feel wonderful. No more pills for indigestion. I went back to work in less than three weeks. I had a very large hernia and I was apprehensive about the surgery. Dr. Bauer thoroughly answered all my questions. I had no pain after surgery (with aid of meds) and stayed in hospital overnight. I had minimal discomfort for the next couple of days and gastro doctor told me I didn't need any further tests.

What an amazing surgeon we have with Dr. Bauer! On behalf of my mother Pat J. from Barnegat, NJ, I would like to thank the doctor and his staff for all the good that they have done. His skills, care and kindness are surely top-notch. My mother is now better than ever, regaining her quality of life that was missing for such a long time. My father gave the doctor a big hug after her successful hiatal hernia surgery. Dr. Bauer has everything one would want from a surgeon. Greatly recommended!

I saw Dr. Bauer as a consult for a thyroidectomy. He is a warm gentleman and thorough doctor. My thyroid had nodules which expanded it down into my chest and into my aortic arch and pulmonary arteries. He assisted my thyroid surgeon and performed a miracle for me!! I was told that there was a 99% chance that they would have to open my chest. Although it took him hours of tedious surgery he was able to avoid the need to open my chest. I will be forever grateful that I chose him as my doctor.

Although Dr. Thomas Bauer may be a good thoracic surgeon, he has a poor bedside manner. He should treat folks especially elderly sick folks like he would treat his own family. Perhaps he doesn't treat his own parents respectfully either. My parents were to be at the hospital for a 730am procedure, he had the nerve to reprimand them for being late. He expected them at 630am but his office never convayed that to either my folks or me. Then he tells my poor Dad he should expect pain!
