This guy sucks badly
Lost temper when I questioned the need to slice a callus and, separately, overstepped with unsolicited "advice" on rheumatology and other issues he knows next to nothing about. If that weren't bad enough I believe he got my podiatry diagnoses wrong. (He denied I have an issue that 3 highly regarded podiatrists independently cited.)

Very nice bedside manner. He does push medications that he sells at very high premium. For example, he charged me $59 for 7.5ml of tolnaflate 1% solution. At Walmart, 30ml of tolnaflate 1% cream is $3.48. He has a way of saying "I'll leave medicine for you". When I asked are these samples, he answered "no samples".

Very difficult together an appointment. Treated by staff in condescending and contemptous style Wondering if doctor prefers patients who are self paying or whose insurance payment is higher than mine which he should accept according to my insurance provider

Dr. Abrahamsen was recommended to me by my primary care physician and I have always been grateful for that recommendation. He has helped me with multiple problems and my feet always feel better when I leave his office.
