Great but
He’s a fantastic doctor about getting to what was wrong, but I’ve been waiting forever for a referral for my lymphedema. He referred me to one location that no longer treated my issue. I waited for an appointment for sometime with no response. When I finally called them, that’s when I found out they no longer treated my issue. Then his office told me they were going send me to another place, and I never got any information. Never got a call. I called them, and they said they were going to send me to another location,I haven’t gotten anything. I’ve been trying to get treatment for lymphedema Since June. It is now February, and my legs are getting worse. I understood the weight to get to see him, but I don’t understand the lack of persistence in getting me a referral to go someplace to get treatment. The things that I was told would happen have not happened. That’s my only concern with this doctor. I’m not sure if it’s him or his office, but there is a disconnect someplace.

Highly recommend "Dr. A" to anyone with vascular issues. Explains any issue thoroughly to whatever level of understanding is needed. Very personable. Great staff and nurse who does preliminary exam when you are taken back for your appointment. Very knowledgeable technical staff as well - demonstrates concern with a desire to provide Dr. A with correct data for his evaluation process.

I moved from CO to FL end of July. I was to have a paraganglioma removed in Denver in April cancelled and moved to May, due to COVID-19. Cancelled again in May. I was waiting to get settled and had planned to seek intervention in January of2021. I presented to ER with AFib. Blood pressure very high. These carotid tumors can contribute to high blood pressure. Dr Abbruzzease conducted some tests prior to surgery. His approach was very methodical and to know exactly what he would be encountering once in surgery. My doctors in Denver never mentioned any of these tests. I felt that I was in very capable and experienced hands. This surgeon is very kind, compassionate and addressed all of my concerns. I am thankful this surgeon performed my surgery.
