If you have a gender colourful teen and are a parent do not see this Dr. He emotionally blackmails parents into getting cross sex hormones for their teens and does not do a thorough gender dysphoria screening. He means well but needs to use a more nuanced approach in regard to individual kids, rather than using scare tactics, with parents in order coerce them into getting kids immediately treated with cross sex hormones without questioning if this is the right approach or too soon. He will get your kid green lighted to OHSU Transgender Program and at the age of 14 a social worker will cold call your kid without talking to a parent. This experience has been the worst experience of my life. If you have gender colourful child do not see Dr Ly. The state of Oregon allows 15 year olds to get both cross sex hormones and surgery without parental consent. Parents who love and support their gender colourful kids are being left out of their child’s medical treatment.
