He is very knowledgeable and get to the root of the issue immediately. Don’t waste time going to any other pulmonologists in the area or you will be left frustrated and suffering. I was very happy with my initial appointment In New Smyrna Beach office with the doctor and his technicians. Front desk was efficient and appointment was a very short wait. It is a very busy office with many doctors. Will try Port Orange for follow up because I felt it was overcrowded within the seating area. I had a state of the art lung evaluation. The doctor explained the result and also a pet scan that showed some items that needed follow up . I needed a follow up study for sleep apnea which he ordered. I feel he is very qualified and would recommend him highly.

I have been a patient for 6 years and Dr Zacharis is the kind of doctor people brag about having. You trust him. He is smart. He is on top of current information. He is forthright with information, compassionate and acts with speed when you need it. I am older and get confused, so if I respect him and he can put up with me, that is a testimonial in of itself.

Tried to make an appointment and wasn't sure if I had the correct office, since she doesn't say the Dr.'s name. Had to ask if he was taking new patients and was asked what kind of insurance I have, I told her and this is the answer I received. " well, yea, I guess". I HUNG UP

When I asked him in the hospital to let me know what medication and the reason for it was, he promptly turned around to exit and said over his shoulder. "what medical school did I go to?" I am extremely allergic to many so called medications.
