Dr. Thanda Zaw, MD

Dr. Zaw is an amazing physician! I’ve been a patient of hers for over a year and I am extremely happy with her. She’s not your typical doctor who is in a hurry to get out of the exam room. She doesn’t dismiss your symptoms. She listens and offers solutions. She’s kind and empathetic. She has a great bedside manner. The health issues I had are finally under control with her guidance. I am very grateful for her. I highly recommend her!

She did not listen. She interrupted. She would not address any of the concerns I came in to seek help about. I had to request a chaperone to observe and manager to have the physician write a referral for my needs. Do not recommend.

We had an excellent doctor that retired, Dr. Thomas Thomas, we ended up having to take Dr. Thanda Zaw as our family doctor. I'm sorry to say I've never had a worse doctor. She has Zero bedside manner. She insisted I come for a follow up after being very sick for several weeks. When I came back she had no idea why I was there. I had to tell her why then she studied her computer still not understanding why I was there with no follower up. This left me very concerned of her competence as a doctor!

I have referred my family and friends to Dr. Zaw and each of them have been very happy with her care. She is my partner in health and makes sure that I know that I am the one in charge of my overall health. She emphasizes that good lifestyle choices from exercise, diet, work, and family do more to keep me well than all the pills in the world. She prescribes modern medical treatment and medication for what is needed but encourages patients to live so I don't end up in hospitals and sick beds.

Takes thorough medical history, never rushed, actually listens to the patient. Discussed side effects of my meds and explained changes. But I guess the most important part to me is that correctly diagnosed and treated me. I am feeling so much better first for understanding what was wrong and now the right treatment

I found Dr. Zaw to be a great listener. I was a new patient and she read my records and asked questions. She wanted to be sure I had the test needed. I am glad I found her to be my doctor.

I am very impressed with the time and attention that Dr. Zaw Gives during my appointments. She is very thorough and explains medications and procedures.

I felt very dismissed by her in my year with her.I was appalled when she kept offering me ,things like fish oils when I have gout. She obviously never read a thing in my records. The last straw when I was offered celebrex instead of the pain medicines, That I have been using respectfully and with no issues 12 years. I have been on celebrex 15 years and she prescribed it all year! This scared me so much. I walked out and currently have no physician or medicine. I DO NOT recommend.

Dr. Zaw is extremely competent, caring, and has awesome interpersonal skills. She is also very willing to make referrals when the problem doesn't fall under her area of expertise. She has my highest recommendation! Scott McChrystal

Dr. Zaw is kind, caring, compassionate and very helpful. She is very concerned with my husbands condition and works diligently to help him regain a good quality of life back. Very refreshing after being treated so badly by former doctors! My husband leaves the office feeling respected, cared about and hopeful. I wish we could give her thousands of gold stars! She is welcoming and cheerful, very professional. We feel like we hit the jackpot for a good doctor with Dr. ZAW!! Shes AWESOME!

She is the kindest sweetest Dr. I have ever had she is compassionate and really tries to help. She is the best Dr. I have ever had!!

After not seeing a doctor for over two years I had several things I wanted to discuss with my new doctor. She told me she didn't have time to discuss anymore than one. I would have to make an appointment for each one. Most if not all of my questions could have been answered in 15 minutes or less. Instead she wants me to come in and pay $30 copay each time. I cannot afford that. On top of that she wouldn't refill or even talk about my antidepressant because that wasn't our topic for that visit.

I am currently unemployed and am a type 1 diabetic. Dr. Zaw has been so gracious to me in getting not only my diabetes back in balance, but has helped me get insulin samples while I have been very close to running out. She is a five star person and doctor in my opinion and I feel comfortable recommending her to anyone, stranger, family, and friends.

When I visited Dr Zaw's office, she was so friendly and helpful. I did feel like she was trying to be thorough, like going through my chart, my medication list, etc. Nice smile and warm heart! I recommend my family to establish care with her since we moved recently from other state.

She listens to me and cares my concern. Mange her time efficiently and thorough. She is a good doctor.

I started seeing Dr.Zaw after my doctor retired. I immediately felt uncomfortable, she did not listen to my concerns about my health as I have several health issues and chronic pain. In my last visit, she barely examined me and I questioned her diagnosis, when I asked to be assigned to a new PCP she made it sound as if I had done something wrong. When the office manager called she was very rude to me and told me I had been discharged by Dr. Saw and now I am left without a doctor.

I have a complicated medical history and this doctor barely even read over my record before dismissing me. I do not feel like she is competent and she does not listen to her patients at all. I will definitely be finding a new primary care doctor.
