Dr. Thadis Cox, MD

I thought I was being touchy until I recently ran into two others who shared the same extreme physical discomfort compared to the same procedure with other physicians. Billing was abnormally high compared to regional averages, follow-up was slow, information had to be tracked down.

Very rude. I needed a procedure done while I was in the hospital. I waited 12 hours. After I was put in under for I don't know how long, he couldn't do it. I think he knew it was something he wasn't qualified to do. His staff was as rude as he was. Unprofessional conduct, uncaring, incompetent. Would not recommend, or ever see him again.

Being my first colonoscopy as a young woman, I was nervous and had several questions. Dr. Cox was rude with his responses and made me feel stupid. After the procedure was over, and I wasn’t fully awake from the anesthesia, he explained to me his findings. But I feel as though I wasn’t awake enough to understand them. Thankfully, I had a family member to explain it to me. I’m very disappointed in my care.

Had to wait over an hour before Dr. Cox actually appeared!

I had a new patient appointment with Dr. Cox in June 2018. The purpose of the visit was to set up a colonoscopy which I must have every three years. I waited for two hours past my appointment time, but Dr. Cox never showed. When I told his staff that I was leaving, they were very "affronted." Then I was scheduled for the procedure for a date in July, but was never given a time or told when to start purging. I called three times and got nowhere with his staff. I cancelled and am going elsewhere

I think he's very rude. .. has no compassion for the human race. .. his staff is very rude also. ..
