CRITICAL REACTION
I had a surprisingly disappointing experience with Dr. Leka, of whom I was always very fond. It was years ago. I actually complained to the provider, Health Care Partners, and changed doctors. To make a long story short, I did not feel Dr. Leka was taking my condition, with had something to do with my eyes (which is by definition scary), seriously, and I started to cry in fear and frustration. He said a number of times, "You know, the way you are behaving does not make me like you," as though he had never experienced a patient crying before, or as though it was a personality contest. I I didn't care if he liked me or not---I just wanted him to fix my eyes. I've never had a reaction like that from a doctor before or since.

Dr. Leka is great! I have type 2 diabetes and he is very responsive to any questions I have and he is very quick to refer me to specialists when needed.

He is one of the best doctors! He is very gentleman, soft spoken, always listens to your concerns, he takes time and doesn’t rush his patients, very warm and caring, very professional and kind.
