Arrogantly Rude and Uncaring
I came to the office about two years ago with the intent to have Dr. Hashey as my primary. I finally met Dr. Hashey in to have a simple accommodations form singed so I could return to a seasonal job. When I expressed my disappointment about my experience with his practice he claimed I was rude to his staff. I did not cuss or raise my voice. He did not offer to enumerate on his claim. But still refused to sign the simple minimal physical accommodations form. It is such a hypocrisy to claim you put your patients first when clearly he doesn't. Too many times when I needed a refill on current medication I was to I had to see another doctor for that. I can agree with other reviewers that X-rays, files and communications are sorely lacking.

The "doctor" and his office does not report test results in a timely manner. And sometimes never at all. Notwithstanding several office visits to review my results, there was a failure to communicate a kidney problem that I was developing. This can only be characterized as "gross negligence".

Dr. Hashey's Reply –
Thank you for your kind words!

Have I got a review for you. I am not a direct patient of Dr Hashey but my sister is. She lives with me and I try to help her as she has many medical problems. Our first impression of Dr Hashey was he seemed competent caring, he listened, and seemingly willing to help my sister find a resolution to her medical needs. But as time progressed and her symptoms did not show any particular disorder or disease Dr Hashey's attitude changed. After many many tests that came back negative he dismissed her!! My sister had a realization of what the problem could possibly be, and even though it's rare, it is a high probability. He denied her!! She straight-up ask for a referral to specific doctor so that she could determine if this was the case or not. He AGAIN denied her. Where is the compassion and care for the patient? Isn't. the patient the paying customer even if through Insurance. Bottomline-it is his EGO! Dr. Hashey would you want your wife mother daughter to be treated like this?

Bad communication with front desk staff - lies, excuses and bad attitudes are what you receive when you call or go to the office to find out why your pharmacy hasn't received refill prescriptions. Forced to threaten legal action to obtain medical records. Surgery cancelled by Dr. Hashey "on a technicality because I can" (his words, not mine), for something he approved over 6 months ago and was not involved with otherwise. Sadly, this cancellation was solely due to my request for medical recor

Dr. Hashey's Reply –
This is not a real patient.

I have been a patient for about 4 years. I am very comfortable in this office and I adore Dr. Hashey. He listens and is interested, gives good medical advice and tells it like it is. I see his P.A. quite a bit also, she is very good also, knowledgeable and always remembers what we discussed the time before for follow up. I like all the upgrades and the addition of the patient portal. Makes it very hard to miss an appointment or a test result.

We have been seeing Dr. Hashee for a year; we moved up from Central Florida. We like the Medical Assistants very much. They do a good job prior to the Dr. coming into see you. We find them and the front office very, very organized. Dr. Hashee is an excellent listener and has a wealth of resources to refer one to if there is a more serious problem that needs to be addressed by a specialist. This is a very important quality that your Family Doctor must have.

I’ve been going here for almost a year and it has sharply declined. This office is struggling. Billing system is broken, referral system is broken, phone/message systems are spotty, and staff does not return calls. When I bring up these issues I get a rude or aloof response. I like the health app they work through, but that’s about it. I hope they fix the systems and the bad attitudes.

Nice Guy, Good Doctor. Terrible support staff. Megan, the receptionist can't handle the phones and the front desk. The office manager is very poor at getting prescription's to the pharmacy. I have called on several days in a row and no one has answered the phone. In closing , Good doctor but if you need prescriptions done than probably not for you. I'm looking for a new doctor, I can't get someone at the office on the phone 80% of the time!

The office cannot give me a correct bill. I pay every time I'm there, yet I get bills from their 'billing department' that don't match up with their system! It's infuriating to get bills in the mail saying my payment is 'seriously past due'. To rectify the problem I have spoken with the manager multiple times but she won't call me back with info as promised. This place also charges you $30 for 'tobacco counseling' if you say you smoke! Apparently 'you should stop smoking' is worth $30.
