Dr. Fan and his staff were very professional and attentive coming in as a new patient for a follow up after an unexpected visit to urgent care. He was thorough and explained the treatment required & as an expectant new father he recommended the TDAP vaccination to avoid another visit. The staff was friendly and they saw me right on time as schedule. After moving to California 5+ years I’m happy to have met Dr. Fan and I will be returning to his practice as my primary care/Internist moving forward.

This doctor should not be practicing medicine!! Do not pay attention to any of those bogus positive reviews. I had one doctor for ten years and another for five years. Both were Hoag physicians and were phenomenal; one retired and unfortunately, I moved too far away to continue seeing my other doctor. I would have to complete a dissertation to list my brief and nightmare experience with him. Suffice to say, he is incompetent, and arrogant If you are ill and want to feel worse, go see him! Fortunately, I have never encountered such a despicable physician and I’m confident I never will again!

Dr. Terry Fan has been my family's primary care physician for over 10 years and we have all had excellent care. From annual wellness checks to sport's injuries as well as everything in between, Dr. Fan has provided outstanding care and thorough follow through. We were devastated to hear Dr. Fan was relocating to LA this year! We've had nothing but trouble trying to find a new family physician and we are already on our 3rd one (keeping our fingers crossed) but none have measured up to Dr. Fan and his expertise. Dr. Fan is a great listener which is key in helping his patients figure out what is ailing them. He is also very proactive in his patient's health and educates his patients on improving and attaining their specific health goals. Dr. Fan will be missed greatly and we wish him continued success. From one trojan to another, Fight On!!

I understand Dr Fan is relocating to LA. he has been my primary Dr for 12/13 years and has proven to be knowledgeable, thorough, and caring with great follow through. Has seen me through my normal aches and pains but also two back surgeries and a major heart attack. he will be missed. I thank him greatly.

Dr. Fan is a caring and concerned doctor. He is excellent in diagnosing health problems. He has been my physician for about 8 years and I am thankful for his professional services.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for an outstanding Family/Internal Medicine doctor in the San Diego area! My family and I have been a patient of his for over 10 years. He is thorough, knowledgeable and caring! He also has a personality :)
