I saw her for many years and it left me with a fear of psychiatrists. Not only did she ignore what every other psychiatrist has considered an instant diagnosis, she also allowed my mother to join my appointments for years, which ensured I never told her the truth. I had 15 minute appointments which she would spend half of talking about her own family and life. Just awful.

Just like a lot of the other reviews on here she sucks lol. Nice enough person but it's super frustrating that she mostly goes on and on about herself and unrelated matters. It's hard to get a word in edgewise. I needed to make a change with my meds and she wouldn't even give me the time to speak on why and what was wrong, she just changed my prescription to something else that doesn't really fit with my needs. She doesn't listen well

In the appointments I’ve had with her, it has been absolutely terrible. I have come away feeling worse then when I first saw her. She talks more about herself than about her patients. I have extreme anxiety and in the first meeting she told me that I had a 50/50 shot of having bipolar, as well as that I have ocd, the latter just because I knew what medicines I have taken. We were a couple minutes late due to an office error and she was rude and told us the appointment would be rushed. She the proceeded to talk about her own medical conditions and drinking habits.

BEWARE!!! There are no words to describe what she lacks as a psychiatrist. She spent much of my first appointment discussing that my complex PTSD was a result of my lack of that, and that if I believed in whatever “God” she believed in that I would not need to even see her. She then, cold-turkey, removed me from an anti-depressant that I have been on for 20 years, resulting in weeks of excruciating withdrawal symptoms. On my follow-up phone call with her three weeks later, she told me there was no such thing as withdrawal symptoms from this medication and that I needed to see a neurologist because I didn’t know what I was talking about. I followed up her call with one to the drug manufacturer to get more information. They listed off ALL of the symptoms that I was experiencing. She is completely unprofessional, more concerned about talking about things in her life than in listening, uneducated about the medications she prescribes, and her demeanor is abrupt and unpolished. ZERO stars.

Absolute worse doctor. My son saw her for years and had to go every 3 months for prescriptions. I get it's the law and sometimes thing are fine so you chat for the 15 minutes. Well sometimes everything wasn't always right and all she did was prescribe more medication. Thanks to his pediatrician that recommend he try just stop taking them. Not only is my son much better but we are not wasting out time and money. So if you want to hang out and talk about her family and the New England Patriots, not your problems she is perfect. If you want a real doctor stay away.

Ive been seeing psychiatrists for about 10+ years now and Mailhot is by far the worst doctor I've EVER gone to. Every single appointment she spoke ONLY of herself. I could tell you more about her grandkids and family than she probably could. My grandmother died and a week later i had an appointment. During that appointment she talked about how her doctor found a growth somewhere and how nervous she was about it. Then ended the session with "i hope i dont pass as young as your grandmother did.."

I wish it was possible to leave no stars bec this woman is a disgusting human being. I honestly think she has untreated bi polar herself and she's over here treating patients. All she does is complain about her colleagues and on my last appt I was a few min late and she literally bullied me in her office. I'm most def filing a complaint with the dept of health bec if I was suicidal she most def would have been enough to push someone over the edge. Instead of helping she bullies!!

This Dr. spent the first few minutes of our session complaining about another practitioner that worked in the office. Then proceeded to tell me about how inconsiderate her newly widowed sister could be. On my second visit with her I was 10 minutes late for my appointment, she refused to see me. I have been with this practice for a year, I had never been late before, and I called to explain I would be late due to work related issues. She then refused write a new RX to last until the next appt.

No recommendation. My sister met with her and spent about 30 minutes listening to the doctor talk about herself. Then she prescribed new meds without talking about what happens when a person goes off lexipro. Then my sisters husband phones the office very alarmed with my sisters well being during the complete and utter chaos caused by the doctor taking her off the lexipro. Never returning phone calls and referring her to her talk therapist who knows nothing about the medicine.
