Not sure about his radiation oncologist skills, but with me he not only did not encourage me to get a second opinion, he actively discouraged it (esophageal cancer) psychological coercion. Had the surgery at Centegra McHenry and it was not successful, wound up having another surgery at Loyola and 7 months in hospital beds. Doubt he would give a referral to anybody not involved with centegra. Nurses were great at Sage Center.
