Rude and Dismissive
Telehealth
Dr. Caudill made me cry. She was very cold, dismissive, and extremely rude. I have never had a healthcare provider speak to me the way she did.She refused to prescribe me 20mg of Fluoxetine, something that has significantly improved my life. After asking me if I was sexually active (yes) and on birth control (no), she said 'so you're gonna get pregnant' which I clarified I was not actively trying. She said she would not be responsible for any birth defects. Upon doing more research, I see that this medication is commonly prescribed to pregnant women, and the risks are low. While it is her right to refuse to prescribe me medication, how she spoke to me was not standard care. Her delivery was condescending and out of line. Instead of having a thoughtful conversation about risks and options, she shut me down with scare tactics.

Lazy and uncaring
Telehealth
Often late, and she wouldn’t even give me the full 15 minutes of my scheduled time. Once. I was actively crying during the appointment and she still ended it early, saying see you in 3 months. She then cancelled my next appointment with 2 weeks notice leaving me scrambling for prescription refills. She is why people hate psychiatrists. Seems nice at first but does the absolute bare minimum.

Ended call after 5 minutes for SSRIs I have had no issues with before, and she refused to prescribe. horrible doctor who either does not know what she is doing or just doesn’t care to help people.

Dr. Caudill ended the session after 9 minutes
Telehealth
I thought the session was going well until about the 9-minute mark when Dr. Caudill would not answer any of my questions and said that I should talk to my local healthcare providers. Then told me to have a good day and ended the call.

I would give 0 stars if I could
Telehealth
I had appointments with her through MD Live. Initially I thought she was a nice person and cared about her patients but that isn’t the case. It’s quite the opposite. Setting appointments with her was quite easy through the MD Live App. I had several appointments with her that lasted about 30 to 60 seconds long. She showed up to each appointment about 10 to 15 minutes late and the appointment was very rushed. She asked me about my symptoms and just said OK. The follow up appointments were quite quick and simple. I expressed to her several times that I suffer from ADHD. I unfortunately missed eight appointments with her because she would schedule them during the times that I was not available and I just tried to make the appointments work because I needed the refills for the medication. she decided out of frustration that she was no longer going to work with me, but did not notify me directly and I ran out of my medication. She did not contact me directly to end the treatment

Would not give prescriptions if I drink alcohol
Telehealth
Just got off my first and last call with her and i'm annoyed. She refused to treat me or even give me a refill of my current medication because I drink on mental health meds. This has never been a problem with past mental health care or general doctors aware of my prescriptions and drinking habits, so this was very startling. Her profile sounded like she was really into helping people understand their choices and options, but she listened to me talk then told me to go back to my old psychiatrist -- impossible, out of state -- or good luck finding someone who will treat me as someone who drinks casually??? ridiculous. I'm pretty sure this is the same Terra Caudill I just met with, although I did teledoc from NYC and thought they had to be in my state....

Truly the worst
Told this woman specific issues I was having and why I was thinking I maybe needed to add another medication or try something new, and she was like, "well I think that's okay. It sounds like things are going well, so I'll see you in 3 months?" It's like she didn't hear a single word I said, which included saying that I felt apathetic. I'm not sure why she's allowed to prescribe medication, as she doesn't seem to show much care for clients' needs.

Many of the same issues as others have posted. The kicker for me was that she left the practice and didn’t tell any of her patients, leaving us to find a new provider without warning.

I had an appointment scheduled with Dr Caudill at 7pm today for an evaluation. I was looking forward to the appointment because I was hopeful that a diagnosis would bring a lot of validation and general improvement into my life. I logged into MDLive through Cigna at 6:55 and found a screen that said, “Waiting for provider”. It turned into a blank screen sometime after 7 and I continued to wait until 7:13. At 7:13 the webpage closed and I received an email alert notifying me I had missed my appointment and was being charged $25. I generally like to give folks the benefit of the doubt, so I will not rule out the possibility that this was a mistake. It is possible that this instance and the multitude of similar reviews I’ve read are not stemming from a malicious psychiatrist and may instead be a faulty wifi connection or something similar. Either way the result is the same for me and many other patients. My recommendation would be to steer clear of Dr Caudill’s telehealth appointments.

Disappointed & Undiagnosed – Jul 19, 2022
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Caudill?
Dr. Caudill literal is the worst psychiatrist I've ever had. and I live in a small small rural town. Refuses to fill prescriptions again unless you pay for more appointments, will cancel about half the time despite several week wait times to see her. I am now almost a month out of my medication and because of her full voicemail box and inability to answer a phone or show up to appointments I am DONE with her! Do not waste your time go with anyone else. Talk to a crazy homeless man they will care more about you

I had an online appointment scheduled with Dr. Terra C. Caudill today at 3:00 CST (made through Live Health). I got online at 2:45 to start the pre-appointment questionnaire. I filled out the forms, took my temperature and blood pressure and waited in queue for my appointment to start. Twelve minutes into my appointment, I received a cancellation pop-up stating that my appointment was canceled and that it was due to me not filling out the pre-appointment forms. I then went online to research Dr. Caudill and found several reviews with the same issue. An appointment was made ahead of time, then around 10+ minutes after the appointment started, the doctor cancelled the appointment. This is very unprofessional, and particular to my case, it's very unprofessional to blame the patient for the cancellation that clearly wasn't their fault. I have filed a grievance with my insurance company as well as Live Health. I would highly recommend that you do the same if you end up having the same issue

Dr. Caudill is an absolute professional. She obviously has a high degree of knowledge in psychiatry & knows how to explain it in a manner that is easy to understand. She is a very kind physician with a great deal of compassion & empathy. She puts in the time it takes with each visit & over time with multiple appointments to determine exactly what is needed & makes only slight adjustments until you're feeling your best. It is of course difficult to get an appointment with her because she is that good. And, she is only available via telemedicine. So, if you're not tech savvy, I wouldn't recommend telemed. If you are comfortable with tech, then you may prefer it. I would recommend testing your computer & connection well before your appointment. But also, there are some things she cannot treat because they are too severe for telemed & should be treated in person. And, certain prescriptions you cannot get on telemed. So, definitely read up on what is allowed.

Well, there was no actual visit because after waiting for over 20 minutes she decided to just cancel on us. As someone that states she is an expert in telemed this was not just unacceptable, but unprofessional. I would HIGHLY recommend finding someone with some actual concern for patients. This one doesn't seem to care all that much
