Rude ER Experience at Kaiser
I took my dad to Kaiser ER for severe abdominal pain. The ER doctor, Teresa Lin Bartlett, was shockingly rude-abrupt, dismissive, and completely lacking compassion. She questioned why we were there since he wasn't a member, brushed off his condition with a vague 'possible inflammation' from the CT, and told us to just take painkiller and see his own doctor. It felt more like an interrogation than care. Her attitude was unacceptable for an ER. Kaiser needs to address this.

Callous and rude towards patient
Before I was even able to talk she had a callous way of speaking to me. I had severe abdominal & pelvic pain that a nurse sent me to the ER because it was 3 weeks and I couldn't stomach food anymore. When I was explaining this she was quick to interrupt me "You will not find any answers today. All I can tell you is to take OTC pain meds." She didn't make any real effort to help me and just wanted to bandaid my illness with pain meds. I was beyond upset in the amount of pain I was in and burst out crying as if I haven't tried pain meds. She didn't show the slightest compassion. After arguing with me she ordered a scan while implying that it's a waste of time. I asked where I can get a report of her only advice being pain meds in my condition and for her name because it wasn’t on my After Visit Summary (only the nurses). She implied I was lying about her name so I showed her the papers and she wouldn't even spell her last name nor give me her first. I had to find it from her name tag.
