Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Young performed a Laparoscopic hysterectomy leaving ovaries. Pre op he explained the risk associated with the surgery. I was very sick losing weight and nauseous ,when I first saw him with anemia and a fibroid and very heavy menstruation. My quality of life is much better now. I’m still healing but already feel so much better. Thank You Dr. Young!

Don't go to doctor young if you expect to be listened to and expect to go into a surgery and get the surgery you wanted and approved of. After many appointments, 2 of which were with Dr. Young, it was decided I would get a salpingo-oophorectomy. However Dr. Young decided while in surgery he wasn't going to do what I expected to be done. He only performed half the surgery we discussed. His only explanation, which he didn't tell me after the surgery he told my mother, was that the ovary looked "normal". I had a post op. appt with another doctor, because I wasn't going to see Dr. Young again, she looked at one of the pictures and noticed 3-4 spots of endometriosis. This was a surprise considering Dr.Young said I didn't have it. The new Dr. pointed out the spots, which were clearly seen in the picture. I don't understand why Dr. Young is a surgeon in a women's center of he won't listen to the women that go there nor believe in conditions that effects women.

Everyone was very nice and professional. What I loved the most is not having to wait a long time to be seen.

I've had doctor Young twice. I've actually tried to make my last few appointments around not having him. The two times I've had him he seems to be rushing and not really listening when I'm talking or explaining things. Doesn't come off as a strong people person...maybe we just don't connect. Everyone else has been great.
