Badly run office...not worth the wait
I had an ultrasound, with follow-up appointment scheduled. When I called to confirm that we would be reviewing results, told it would take 3 WEEKS to get results. Then, I was rescheduled. I called to confirm results were in....hung up after 10 minutes on hold. Called back. Hung up after 8 minutes on hold. Cancelled appointment. Haven't seen an office so badly run in years.

I have never felt so unimportant. Bad.
Dr. Kurteva practice is very poorly run and she manages her time poorly. Routine appointments still book months in advance... and 6 weeks between appointments including follow ups to test results. More importantly your concerns and schedule will not matter. You will 'take it or leave it' when it comes to days times and locations for appointments. I recently waited 6 weeks for a follow up to a sonogram. Dr. Kurteva needed to reschedule.. ok that happens.. but the office staff gave me three choices 1) a time and day that I could take 2) wait 11 weeks 3) see an assistant what will "run back and forth and ask Dr. Kurteva what to do". Really? for my surgery consultation? After waiting 4 1/2 months. The office staff is a combination is aggressive and uncaring. I couldn't even switch to another doctor within the practice because Dr. Kurteva wouldn't 'release my records'. I had switch practices entirely. Good news is there are EXCELLENT alternatives. Have a look.

Dr. Kurteva is an outstanding doctor. She is very knowledgeable, a great listener and compassion. She was excellent and the best doctor I have ever gone to. I would highly recommend Dr. Kurteva.

Dr Kurteva always kept me informed about options and what to expect regarding my condition. She was there to re-assure and explain every facet of my surgery and treatment. She was extremely competent and just as important was empathetic and considerate of my emotional worries and concerns. Dr Kurteva was without a doubt is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure to call my doctor.
