Spare yourself!
Dr. Soares came in the room, looked at my back (maybe 30 seconds), and quickly told me I had Erythema Ab Igne. He said he could tell I’ve used a heating pad and to stop bc my skin was clearly sensitive to the heat. I had many questions. He told me not to worry and that it’d go away on its own, just stay away from the heating pad and extended periods of heat. I left the room feeling foolish and staff giggled as they checked me out.THREE MONTHS LATER! My back isn’t any better and the discolored patches are now itchy, painful, and spreading. I make an appointment at Woodlands Dermatology only to find out that I have a RARE AND SEVERE skin condition, that can be debilitating if not treated timely and properly! So severe that I’m pending a biopsy, labs, and treatment plan…Had Dr. Soares diagnosed me properly, not mocked me and made me feel foolish, I wouldn’t be in this situation. Spare yourself, AVOID DR. SOARES AND HIS STAFF!

Horrible experience..Very rude, unhelpful, he didn't explain anything when we asked about side effects of a treatment, his answer was "look on the internet". He didn't even look or examine the patient, not look at us.. He spend 2 minutes with us and was in a rush. We won't recommend this unprofessional, please please dont go there, especially if you are hispanic.

Not nice, rushed appt, totally unhelpfuk
We have been to provider before and it was fine but this time he completely dismissed our concerns and wasn’t helpful. Not sure why. It was weird.

Dr. Soares outright lied in the Progress Notes after my 2-week post op. My hardcopy of the notes [which I didn't receive until a few months later when I went in and complained about the results of my procedure] says "36 year old female patient in office today for suture removal on left medial distal thigh. Area looks good and healing well, no infection or swelling." This was a complete lie!! The stitches were infected, which he had to prescribe an antibiotic for. He okayed the removal of my stitches when the infection was still present! The scarring is worse than what I started with. He is willing to lie to cover up his mistakes. Do not trust him.

For 10+ yrs CONSISTENT HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL CARE & SKILL from Dr. Soares & Staff. With Scot-Irish-German roots I'm considered 'poster boy/man' for growing up in Florida before sun block. I need scanned every 6 mo or sooner. Have also worked in Health Care & VERY PICKY about my HC provider choices. Dr. Soares has sliced, diced, stitched, & froze my basal, squemous etc & sent me to less invasive new radiology treatment to avoid invasive nose surgery a 2nd time. TRUST HIM with my LIFE!

Poor response after adverse effects of his suturing of my daughters mole removal. He didn’t take ownership of the results and was very cold towards us when we expressed concern post-op about the healing site. I regret taking her here as now she has a terrible 4 inch scar on her tiny arm.

Every time I have had a skin issue, Dr. Soares has been efficient by taking care of the problem right then and there. I’ve had several skin growths removed, used Retin-A for bumps on my face, and have even gone to him for Botox. He also got rid of my son’s warts. His staff is attentive and friendly.

Dr. Soares found and and removed a Squamous Cancer growth on my head. He performed the surgery in his office. The cancer margins were within the skin he removed. The incision is healing nicely. I am very satisfied.

Sent my daughters to see Dr. Soares for acne, the nurse took it upon herself to send her prescription to one of their own pharmacies and have it mailed. When I called the front desk to have her prescriptions sent to another pharmacy the receptionist was very rude and felt the need to raise her voice. I have never dealt with any office as rude as this place. This is a reminder for myself to never come here again!

After weeks of battling a horrible skin infection I went to this office and although the doctor and his nurses were nice, I was told I needed biopsy’s. Unfortunately I had already spend so much on medications I couldn’t afford it until the following week when I got paid again. They would not work with me AT ALL! $79 was what I owed after insurance. They send me away for me to end up in the hospital the following day. I would have gladly paid of course 5 days was all I was asking. Very upsetting

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE AROUND, I WAS IN SERVE PAIN AFTER MY SURGERY, THEY DID NOT PRESCRIBE ME ANYTHING FOR PAIN. I HAD TO GO BACK AND TELL THEM HOW BAD IT WAS,THE NURSE SAID SHE WAS REALLY SORRY, SAID THEY SHOULD HAVE GIVEN ME SOMETHING FOR THE PAIN, THEN SHE GAVE ME A PRESCRIPTION FOR PAIN MEDICATION. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO REMOVE ALL OF THE CYST, ONE MONTH LATER IT'S BACK DIRECTLY UNDER THE SCAR. I CALLED THEM THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY IN ORDER FOR HIM TO LOOK AT IT AGAIN, VERY SAD..

Extremely long office wait (over an hour in waiting room, another 30 minutes once in exam room). Office staff was so rude - I listened to them complain about patients and talk about their physical appearance deficiencies while i sat in the waiting room. Medical staff was in such a hurry, it was clear spending time with patients was not a priority. Would absolutely NOT recommend going to this office for anything.

I had struggled with toenail fungus for half my life, trying every remedy possible, and nothing ever worked. Dr. Soares treated me with a combination pill and topical treatment, and I am thrilled to say that my toenail fungus is completely gone! He also treated my daughter for molluscum that she had for a few years. He was very up-front in not guaranteeing the treatment because it only works for a percentage of kids, but it worked for her, and she is confident at school again!

Very rude staff both times I have been there. Staff is very unfriendly, doesn't seem to want you there nor be there. Doctor's nurse was very rude as well and was trying to leave the room before all questions were asked. Didn't even take my daughter's weight and height, but asks us what it was. Doctor was very rude and didn't even look at us when we were talking, seemed he just wanted us to leave. I work in the medical field and I would NEVER recommend this practice. Awful staff, nurses, & Doc.

I got an appointment quickly but when I arrived, the staff was rude, stand offish, very unfriendly, not one smile, and they looked like they didn't want to be there. The Doctor spent about 5 minutes with me and was also quite unfriendly, and didn't explain any of his treatment. I will definitely not be going back to this office and would not recommend it to anyone.
