She kept asking me what I was worried about. I am not worried. I have severe hammertoes and a bunion and a cut on the bottom of my foot. I cannot get my shoe on this foot without manipulating the toes to fit. The hammertoes catch on the shoe on insertion and I have to stretch the shoe to fit over the bunion. Oh, and I have had diabetes for 35 years.She dismissed my concerns, wanted reports from a former doctor that had nothing to do with the issue I was having which my primary had sent me to see her and did not address the cut on the bottom of my foot. She walked out of the room saying see the ladies up front. The cut on my foot was not looked at even though I addressed it with the nurse and her.She dismissed the problematic hammertoes saying I had them on both feet but I kept telling her the right foot is the issue. She suggested diabetic shoes but I will still have the same issue of cramming them by hand into my shoe. I wear flats that used to fit fine.Not going back.

Dr. Hernandez is now in Rochester, NY, where I saw her for an initial consultation. I recommend her. What I really liked was that my concerns really registered with her. I could see in her eyes as she spoke to me that she saw me as a person and she took the time to answer all of my questions.

She couldn’t identify toenail fungus and told me to put Vick’s Vaporub on my nails. Never put lab report on my record, doubt it was ever done. Jabbed me with implement. Was dismissive of my questions.

Dr. Telva Hernandez is extremely knowledgeable, patient and has an exemplary bed side manner. She is a true master is her field of practice and we are elated to have found her and her staff. Thank you .
