Dr. Kovacev and his staff are amazing. I initially went in to get hernia repaired and he recommended I get my colonoscopy done first which I did Oct 13 2023. I am glad I didn’t put off had 3 polyps remove and 2 were pre-cancerous. He wanted wait to have my umbilical hernia repair but I was having to much complications so that was repair Oct 19 2023 he amazing surgeon explained everything to me. Then I ended back in his office 2 weeks post check up and I needed my gallbladder removed he wanted to wait since I was still healing from the other surgery but I was having to much pain so that gallbladder was removed 11/27/23 he explained everything to me and my husband after surgery. Time for me recover from all these surgeries now. My husband getting his first colonoscopy done 12/8 with both our family history of colon cancer we have to get done. If you looking for surgeon and great staff I highly recommend his office. He will be doing my Endoscopy this Friday as well to figure out what going on with my stomach issues. He has help me so much in last 7months. Now that I know what wrong with GI issues I can finally say that I am starting to feel so much better.

Wonderful Doctor
Dr Kovacev knew I was VERY NERVOUS from the first second he walked into the room when we first met. He was able to calm me within minutes and was SURE to explain everything that would happen during my first colonoscopy and the aftercare that would follow. When he came in the morning of the procedure he calmed me once more and made sure if I and my husband had any questions that he answered us thoroughly. He was always pleasant, and friendly and had an AWESOME Bedside manner too.

Dr. Kovacev and his staff have provided the type of care and concern that all doctors and staff should strive to provide to their patients. They have been easy to work with when scheduling my initial appointment with Dr. Kovacev, they assisted me with scheduling my pre-op and surgery with CHI, and lastly were timely in scheduling my follow up appointment with Dr. Kovacev. Great job to all.

Dr. Kovacev was very knowledgeable, explained the issues in plain language. His staff was very helpful, and kind. The appointment was on time, and he listened to all my concerns, didnt rush me out the door. Best surgeon in area.
