I just got off the phone with his nurse. She said today was first time she had time to call me with lab results. I had abnormal results and I m sorry but they took too long to call with those results ( because they are busy) I feel my appointments are extremely rushed . I see him every 3 months so I don't understand why when his nurse called today that she recommended that I have a PCP manage my thyroid care! Doesn't make sense. If I'm seeing him every 3 months for my diabetes and thyroid care why would he suggest that!? I feel I'm getting brushed off kind of like I feel when I travel 75 miles one way and always get a speedy rushed appointment. Talks at me not to me. He's advertised as taking Telehealth appointments but that's contradictive. I'm told I need to travel to see him and Telehealth only if absolutely necessary. I use wheelchair and am in bad health and have expressed how very difficult it is to travel but they insist on seeing me in person. He's told me he "doesn't remember me" when I had 1 Telehealth appointment because he's not seeing me in person! And he said " it's hard for me to remember patients using Telehealth". Looking at his records would be helpful for starters! He should not be doing and advertising Telehealth appointments would be my advice then. I write notes when I see him but when I follow up with him he's (lost) telling me things that are inaccurate according to my last visit and I have to refresh his memory and tell him "that's not what your plan of care was on my last visit" . So then he opens up his laptop and says" I can't remember" so he then when he opens up laptop and refreshes his memory it makes me feel very uncomfortable and I question this. So even seeing him in person he doesn't remember me! Obviously doctors are scheduled too many patients in a day this the rushing through things, rushed appointments. The more patients seen in a day equals more $ for facility I guess. Our healthcare system is not right in so many ways. I'm upset about them trying to brush me off today to a PCP for my thyroid care.

Dr Khoo was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in ordering diagnostic tests and ongoing treatment plans for my mother’s HPH. He provided us a stress free consultation allowing ample time for all our questions and concerns. He’s clearly a very friendly, caring and genuine physician.
