Customer service from the front desk to the back is unprofessional and horrible. New patient appointment the first appointment was rescheduled.. total inconvenience. Rescheduled and waited 2 hours before I decided enough was enough. Do not spend your hard working money here. It’s a total waist $

Terrible experience
I will never recommend this provider to anyone. I was taking medicine that could possibly cause issues with my liver and when my test results came back no one called to tell me to stop taking the medication. I called the office several times and was told my staff to continue taking the medication and the doctor have a week to call and provide updates on lab work. In tears on the phone I asked if I'm suppose to continue to take a medication that I clearly see causing issues with my liver from lab work and she said yes. Thank God I stopped taking it because finally the other doctor called and said stop taking it and come back in for more testing. My medication was changed after that and it was the wrong dose and at least 3 months. This place have me afraid of doctors.

I always have a very good experience when I go to Dr. Tasha Shamlin. I have been a patient for over 10 years and I absolutely love her and her staff. She takes her time with me and listen to what I have to say and is not rushing my appointment to get to her next patient. If I tell her that something is wrong she is going to address the problem right there or have her staff call the specialist and give them the information to call me for an appointment. Have referred several people to her. I thank God for such a caring, compassionate Doctor because their are so many now that don't care anything about you except taking your money.

Incompetent
Me and my wife visited this doctor and we overall are dissatisfied with the care that was received. We was promised a service in and timely manner and they failed to give that service that was promised on time with made and my family have a unpleasant and uncomfortable week. We will be looking for a different doctor.

When I first tried to schedule my daughter appointment the receptionist answered rudely saying they were at lunch. I called to reschedule and whoever answered still wasn’t welcoming. Made it to my daughter appointment and the receptionist was rude. I tried to show her my insurance card on the app and she wouldn’t even look at my phone. She returned my license to me and gave me the email to send my insurance information. I still don’t understand why she couldn’t look at the card on the app and take the info down like most places. I came back to return the paperwork and she asked for my license again. I told her I gave it to her already and she sarcastically said I didn’t hand it to her. So she basically wanted me to pull my license out just to place it in her hand. She then brings me my license and paperwork back which I took without acknowledging her. That’s when she started to make smart remarks about me and her day to another patient. Whenever she would see me she would stare me down

I have been a patient of Dr. Tasha Shamlin for 10 yrs or better. She is an excellent doctor and is very knowledgeable. The diagnoses she makes, according to the symptoms, I have described has always been correct. The medicine she prescribes is very effective. She cares about her patients and I love her demeanor as a doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone and I have.

Dr Shamlin is great. I have been waiting at least 3 weeks on my lab results. I think her office staff is not qualified to handle the amount of patients they see.

Tasha Shamlin’s office will get you in for a quick appointment but her bedside manner needs extensive work. If you schedule before her lunch time, you will be cut short so she can go to lunch with her sister. She will put you on meds but will prefer if you stay on them instead of being healthy and getting off of them. I had to change doctors because I felt Tasha would let my health go on a downward spiral instead of listen to what I was coming in for and help me to become a healthier person.

I was able to get an appointment right away and the Dr was very attentive. She answered all of my questions and gave me advice that was concise and in a language I could understand. Highly reccommend her for all your health needs.

Dr. Shamlin is awesome! She has been a great asset to me and my family. She believes in wellness and spends time with me regarding my concerns. She treats me like a person and not a number. I even recommended my daughter and grand children! Getting through to the BR Medical Center is like torture. Cannot wait until she moves into her own office!!!

Dr Shamlin has taken great care of me! When no one else knew what was happening to me, she got to the root of my problems and I began to be and to feel healthy again. She has also fought for me when I needed other care. Her suspicions were proven right and I am cancer free and safe today thanks to her persistence on my behalf.

Went in for a wellness visit about 5 years ago (covered under by insurance at 100%). I'm hardly ever sick, and when I am, I go to urgent care, but I decided to schedule another wellness visit recently and was informed that I had a balance on my account. After being transferred to the billing department, I was informed that because Dr. Shamlin asked me if I had other concerns during my wellness visit and I voiced ONE concern to her, I was billed for an office visit also. Insurance fraud?

Went to this Dr. for anxiety and had a terrible experience. Very late to the appointment and very unfriendly. Gave me way too high of a dosage of zoloft, and I ended up having a very bad reaction to it.

For starters the person that booked the appt over the phone sounded very disoriented and was very inattentive. She kept asking me the same questions over and over, & talked over me ...that was strike one.Got an appt the same day at 9:50, arrived at 9:53 because there wasn't anywhere to park, stood in line for over 15 minutes and she canceled my appointment because i was 2 minutes beyond the 15m grace period, although it was because of me standing in their excessively long line. TERRIBLE SERVICE

Not a good choice if you have questions or want to discuss your health in detail. When the medical assistant was taking my vitals and asked what brought me in I was told I could only pick 2 things I wanted to address. I've never heard of such. Also, The doctor did not look me in the eye; she looked at the computer the entire time, and when I asked a few questions, she was very abrupt and irritated. It was a terrible experience.
