Dr. Tariq Yunus, MD

Dr Yunus did my Total Thyroidectomy in mid-November when my labs came back suspicious for cancer. He did great using the previous incision from my previous surgery for the partial thyroidectomy, but ended up with a larger incision because we had to remove to entire thing which is totally fine. It blends in with the natural crease on my neck so it’s not as noticeable. It healed up very well, and I was allowed to resume care with my Endocrinologist. Getting my STD FMLA paperwork completed by their staff was a breeze and they’re very responsive. I highly recommend Dr Yunus, not just for all the allergy issues people normally see him for, but he does thyroidectomies too.

Dr. Yunus performed a sinus surgery on my son to remove multiple nasal polyps. Dr. Yunus even spoke with us after the surgery to let us know everything went well. My son has been back for a few follow-up visits to ensure that the cavity is staying clear and that my son is rinsing well enough to clear the daily mucus accumulation. Dr. Yunus has explained to my son the importance of his home care and is willing to continue the follow ups until he sees a satisfactory outcome. The level of care and true concern for his patients is outstanding. He really wants to see my son succeed with his daily routine so we won’t have a repeat surgery in the next few years. I have never experienced an excessive wait time. People do need to understand that occasionally you might have a patient that takes a bit longer with their appointment possibly due to questions or concerns which in turn might cause them to run a bit behind. You would definitely want that same courtesy extended to you as well.

Dr. Yunus performed a surgery to correct my deviated septum and a turbinate reduction / submucosal resection. It was a more involved surgery than I anticipated just because I resisted learning exactly what the plan would be. I breathe better now than I can ever remember. No more sleep problems and I just know that my chronic sinus infections will be a thing of the past. He's a great communicator and an expert. I should've done this a long time ago.

He is an excellent doctor. He listens to you and gets to the source of the problem to make you well. Very good bedside manner too. Very pleased !!!.

This doctor is the best

Always prompt and professional. I had a bad experience at another allergy clinic overcharging me and horrible office staff. Dr Yunus’ staff is friendly and helpful, and fees for allergy injections 1/4 of what I was charged elsewhere. So happy I made the change!!

The office staff is kind and friendly. About him I can say that I am not s very chatty person to begin with so I never expect conversations in the first place, but I rarely met a doctor so distant to his patients. Well I assume if I were a man that would be probably different.

Office staff is terrific. Nothing else good I can say about my experience with him. I regret ever using him as a doctor. Never would I recommend him to anyone.

He is very knowledgeable, my visit was very quick, we didn't wait long at all, and he listened to my concerns, and got straight to the point, I felt very comfortable under his care. He's done both of my 2 boys sinus surgeries and he treats my daughter for sever allergies. We love him. He's a wonderful doctor!
