Dr. Taral Patel, MD

I have been a patient of dr. Patel for 13 years. He is the best !!!!!! Knows his patient, and is very personable. Advice he gladly gives, knowing he cares. He will work with what ever decision you and family make. Very helpful in making your decision. Does every tests out there pertaining to your illness. I truly believe in this man as a help to his patients. You need to let him know your decision as to treatment early. And trust me will do anything , Like tests to help you make that decision. I’m in my 80s. And he has been there for me. I am very active for my age,so he has taken that into my treatment of lung cancer. As of right now, he has lead me down the right road for treatment. Be your own advocate, He will help you along your way.

Kind Man! Dr. Patel has seen and treated several of my friends unfortunately. He is always certain to make sure that we’re doing everything we can with testing etc. to get it right for his patients! The office staff is exceptional and always there for my family when they call ! Does Zangmeister certainly has cancer care at the highest priority!

Dr Patel was readily available to give my step-father a second opinion after his diagnosis. The Zangmeister Cancer Center offers a calm environment with caring people.

I found Dr Patel to be very helpful and considerate of my needs. He pointed out options for treatment of my bladder cancer that my urologist failed to mention and refused to consider. I have been a patient of Dr. Taral Patel for about 41/2 years now and I find him to be very passionate and so kind to me during my office visits. He always listens to any concerns that I might have and always sets my mind to ease before leaving the office. Dr Terai Patel may be a dynamo of an oncologist, but in the areas of compassion, empathy and concern we found him sorely lacking. During an office visit for our family member, he very bluntly, almost cruelly pronounced the terminal diagnosis, including the very short timeline. He then left the examining room. Specialists ARE specialized, however we all want to be treated with dignity, and worthiness in ALL of our relationships. Perhaps Dr Patel never learned this valuable life lesson.
