Dr. Tapan Pandya, MD

Explains everything in layman's terms, but not condescending. Very pleasant demeanor.

Dr. Tapan Pandya is superb. I was referred to him for management of my CPAP as my previous MD retired. I walked out of his office more than pleasantly surprised. Excellent communication, thorough, and am convinced he truly cares about his patients. Additionally, Priscilla, office staff, is very pleasant, organized, and efficient. It's hard to find excellent MDs with excellent office staff...but this is definitely one!

Doctor is great and was very happy with him but the girl who works in office has major attitude and zero professionalism. Incredibly rude and constantly defensive about her multiple mistakes, taking zero responsibility for her incompetence. Thinks it’s okay to hang up on patients. Refused to give me her first name or the manager when I didn’t like how she was talking over me, arguing, raising her voice and talking down to me. Then she hung up on me me. She’s the only reason I won’t be back.

Lack of timely response to questions/clarifications even in emergency situations. I had to call the office every days to get my lab results only to be yelled at by front office. Could not diagnose my condition, finally had to switch doctors to receive a proper diagnosis and have a treatment plan.

I want to add that I think Dr Pandya is an excellent doctor and I am thankful to have found him. I have seen him for several months in which he diagnosed asthma. He is so patient, caring, empathetic and genuinely remembers you as a patient, your treatment and your needs. His staff have also been exceptionally patient and helpful, especially in trying to find the right medication. I would highly recommend Dr Pandya and his office !!!

I didn't visit him. My wife was admitted into the Los Alamitos emergency ward for difficult breathing. it was determined that she has Congestive Heart Failure and Dr. Pandya was assigned as her Pulmonary Specialist. He was VERY informative and extremely helpful, unlike the other three doctors that have been taking care of her. He actually took time to explain to me what was going on and was empathetic. Unfortunately, at the time of this writing, after 9 days, none of the other doctors have bothered to contact me and since we are under the restrictions of the pandemic I am not allowed to visit.

Very short wait which is refreshing for a Dr. visit. Dr Pandya also listened and took time with me.
