Dr. Tanya Evans, MD

Dr. Evans has been my Dermatologist for the last 10 years or so. She always listens, never feel as if she's rushing me. She diagnosed a skin cancer requiring Mohs procedure that another Dermatologist totally ignored. I have found Dr. Evans and staff, including front desk to be kind, efficient, proactive, & aware of successful-scientific-studies.Thank you! LJP

It takes months to get an appointment and then they cancel at the last minute without trying to get you a new appointment. Unprofessional and very rude behavior by receptionst. Go somewhere else.

Continually a great experience and outcome. I was seen on time with no wait. Dr Evans is highly experienced and technically very adept at procedures like excisions with no pain, no complications, quick recovery, no scar (amazing really). Senior skin seems to require extra vigilance, and she has the know-how. Office is running smoothly (and I ran medical offices in LA so I know the difference). I consider myself lucky and privileged to receive dermatological medical services by someone of her very high calibre. It's hard to find in this subspecialty!

I have been going to this office for a few years and have never seen the Dr only a PA Plus one has to wait minimum of 1 hr after arriving

They usually run 1-2 hours late. They are very disorganized and don't seem to care about their patients at all. DONT GO HERE!

After I was hospitalized for 10 days with 3rd degree burns, I was having a challenging time finding a post hospital doctor for follow up care. Dr. Evans was willing to see me for burn after care and bill my insurance. She did an excellent job spending enough time during the visit to answer all of my questions and concerns. Parking is easy there and the staff is dedicated to their jobs. If you want to go walk around the building for a little exercise while waiting for your appointment, they give you a little beeper that buzzes when it is your turn. Not sure why some other Yelpers are griping about a little wait. This is a very busy office and you can always walk around, get a coffee at Starbucks or a bite to eat at the close by restaurats if the appointments are running a little behind. This is to be expected at any busy doctor's office. I feel very, very fortunate to have found this excellent doctor.

Bait and switch you dont get Dr Evans you get an assistant, no exam, no sample just look diagnose leave, over booked heard good things about doctor but if this is your business they must pull your license So mad I wish I had read reviews before going, got ripped off. Submitting compliant to my insurance company. I would expect 1. Take skin scraping of something unusual 2. Do biopsy if unusual 3. Provide an explanation of benefits before leaving. Just got receipt for pre-paid co-pay. 4. Just a patient mill and money centric business so extremely disappointed.

Dr Tanya Evans and staff are a delight. This is an extremely busy practice...for good reason...they do awesome work. I have had Mohs surgery done on two occasions about 2 years apart...the stitches on my face were invisible in about 1 month and the one on my shin is virtually gone. Dr Evans demeanor is gentle and kind. It is a delight to see her - you can tell she loves her work. I was noticing the 2 bad ratings and it is a shame and uncalled for - these people don't even tell you the quality work done here - they are totally focused on the fact they they were either not up to the job or just impatient people. People come to Southern California Laser because they need GOOD WORK DONE. Well this is where you can get it.

I can’t say much about Dr. Evans quality but I can say my experience with her professionalism was unsatisfactory! I went once several years ago and that was enough.

Terrible service. More than 1 hour wait, no follow up communication, doesn’t return calls, incomplete directions after a few weeks of treatment, could not reach her after many tries to find out next steps for my treatment. Not apologetic about it and said I could find a new doctor. I didn’t feel the true care for the patient, and understanding the discomfort I was in and why I called to ask for follow up help. Do not go to her! Also, prescribed a steroid for topical use and prescribed to use it longer than recommended use and said it doesn’t affect breastfeeding but it does.
