Dr. Parrent is a lousy dermatologist who does not listen to his patients. I have had root like structures growing underneath my skin they are white in color. The root like structures grow fairly large and cause pressure pain. He identified this as pickers nodule. Although when I leave the area alone it grows larger. It looks like a root usually from a hair follicle, just larger and sometimes round. He said the only treatment for this problem was to leave it a lone.
