This doctor doesn’t care about patients
1. Because I can’t go any lower. The doctor was a no-show to her appointment that was booked nearly 2 months ago. Doctors need to take responsibility for the patient’s investment and time & such callous attitude towards your patient’s health tells me more about this doctor than any skills she may claim to possess. Extremely disappointed.I also hold Mount Sinai accountable for any miscommunications & scheduling issues, but from what I understand, the doctor just walked out the door, with no regard for the patient.

Another doctor that could care less
I really wanted to like her. She is very nice overall, I’ve had 2 annuals with her but when it comes to having medical issues, I don’t think she cares. I only get 1 word answers at least 5 days later from her when messaging on the app, she is not helpful and doesn’t even pretend to care. Won’t be going back.

Myomectomy
Dr.Kolev is an amazing doctor! She has changed my life in so many ways. I'm forever grateful for her. She's warm, caring and welcoming. Dr.Kolev performed my myomectomy surgery and removed over 20 fibroids. I suffered from heavy periods and excruciating pain for over 20 years. Now thanks to Dr.Kolev, I no longer have heavy periods and my period went from 7 days to 4 days. I longer wear tampons and pads together. The fear of bleeding through my clothes is gone. Best ob/gyn doctor!! Thank you Dr.Kolev :-)

she always made me bleed after pap smear. no other ob/gyn (i traveled a lot so i have seen so many) does that. so i go see a different one now.

Dr. Kolev is in it to bilk your insurance, not to help you with an issue. She speeds through your appointment and is not thorough. The office is no help. The day after she performed a hysterectomy she actually had her student call and yell at me for asking too many questions! All appointments including pre-surgical were with her students. At my post-surgical, she didn’t even show up! If you want to see someone professional and genuine, this is not where you should go.

I was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst, and was referred to Dr. Kolev for surgery. Dr. Kolev and her team did an amazing job; I can't recommend her enough. This was my first surgery, and I was nervous. Dr. Kolev was patient, reassuring, and efficient. She gave me a quick surgery date, and she preformed my surgery with no issues. My incisions are tiny and the surgery was quick. My recovery was great and Dr. Kolev's admin team gave me everything I needed for my insurance and employer
