Highly recommended
Dr. Yamada has left me a very good impression. He is an outstanding professional, and, in the same time, kind and friendly. He carefully listens to the patient questions and answers them with many details. He makes the patient feel good and that he can trust the doctor who really wants to help him. I had a very good experience with my first visit, and I would warmly recommend this doctor to my relatives and friends. I'm glad that I can share my opinion with other people... I give Dr. Yamada five stars.

I had A-Fib that had been treated by another cardiologist but did not resolve. Doctor Yamada did a procedure that was extremely effective in resolving my A-Fib. Great bedside mannerism.

As another person said, multiple procedures and worst off than when started. He's very arrogant and refused to try meds so he could try again to solve the problem. 6 procedures later I went to another doctor at another hospital and the first thing he asked was why I wasn't on meds. It solved the problem by the way. Yamada thinks he can "fix" everything when sometimes managing it is the best solution but now I'm traumatized from the many er visits and shocks from my defibrillator. My life is essentially ruined now. I won't say he didn't work hard at it but he worked right past the obvious solution because of his arrogance.

The more I get to know him the more the quiet, reserve personality of his turns into arrogance. Multiple procedures later I'm worse off than what I started.

Did not explain procedures, told me my symptoms did not occur(called me a liar). Did not follow up with standard procedures. I am a retired cardiac rn and I knew something was not right with my pacemaker, but was not listened to, was not offered an event monitor. I subsequently went to a cardiologist that I had worked with , was put on a monitor for 2 weeks and the problem was found. My atrial lead had to be programmed out and that solved the problem . I was treated terribly.
