Dr. Sattar totally missed a recommendation to have a needle biopsy done on a nodule in my thyroid. Had it not been for my gynecologist getting a duplicate copy, I would have never known to point out to him what the report said. And yes, it was cancer. He also ordered a routine colonoscopy for me but coded it as diagnostic, as if there was a particular problem they were checking for, which resulted in me paying almost $500 out of pocket instead of insurance, which I had to appeal to recoup. If that wasn't enough, he fired me as a patient and made me pay to have my records sent to my new doctor. Save yourself a lot of trouble and select someone else.

I've been a patient of his for 10+ years. Lately when I've had an appointment his staff has booked so many patients for the same day/time that he leaves you waiting and waiting. I guess he thinks your time doesn't matter. The last time I went into his office for a recheck on my arm I walked out after 90 minutes of waiting without seeing him.
