I started seeing Rizvi in late 2015/early 2016. He was unfortunately my first experience with psychiatry. Although it is common for a psychiatrist to spend less time than a psychologist with the patient, there is no way you can diagnose or treat a patient with the little time he spent with me. He missed 'our' appointments on more than one occasion, giving excuses, never taking the blame and never ever apologizing. All he ever did was increase my dosage(s) whenever I wasn't feeling happy/better. He never paid attention and only ever cared about payment. My final straw was when I was at my worst point emotionally, he had already just not attended our last appointment (at the peak of the pandemic), then my next appointment we scheduled turned out to be pretty crucial, he again did not attend. I called the 'after hours number' (which is important to include that the first time this option became available was 6 months or so into the global pandemic), got a call back with just more excuses

He is Very Unprofessional and makes excuses like he NEVER gets calls from my other doctors or discharge information from hospitals other than the one he works at. My other doctor asked for medical releases for over two months and Dr.Rizvi just decided to NEVER call her back for her to write a full evaluation. he said he never got the message hahah!!

He's not on the patient's side if your family is in the medical field, i.e. doctors. He is more interested in building a clientele & scoffing off physical abuse done by a parent who is a physician WITH the abuser in the ROOM. There was a bloody incident and he LAUGHS it off if he wants to impress your doctor family member whom he is interested an calling a COLLEAGUE because he gets patients referred by this person. Dr.Rizvi dared to say, "Must be nice suffering being born into a Cardiologist's house." He's complacent to the distress it causes me. There's a MESS of a hoarding situation for TEN YEARS. Dr.Rizvi has been my doctor for FIVE YEARS and NEVER inspected our house and 302'ed the verbally & also physically abusive hoarder with filthy food & bugs and rodents. NEVER called for my *Wealthy* abusers to come in seperately and later have family meetings. I told him not to have a full family meeting FIRST due to lies and hurt being perpetuated. He is ONLY GOOD FOR MED MANAGEMENT.

I had been receiving treatment from Dr. Rizvi for a little over a year now, and tomorrow is the last day I will speak with him. He hardly talks to you whether in person or over the phone. He didn't even believe me when I told him the medication wasn't helping my symptoms of depression and suicidal idealization. He told me everyone is more depressed because of covid19 and that I should keep on taking the dosage as prescribed prior. I continued to do that, until now I am out of one of my medications and the pharmacy won't give me more until next week, even though I took the correct dosage every day with no faltering. He told me medication could help but now it has only made my life worse. Tomorrow I get to tell him how I really feel over my last phone call with him. If you don't care about your life, go see this psychiatrist. If you do care, I implore you to seek out someone else.

We took our son to Dr. Rivzi. He is not warm and cuddly, but he is very professional. He will not let you cry on his shoulder, if you want that go to a therapist. We thought he prescribed our son just the right medicine. It has been very good for him.

I personally had a terrible experience at every visit. He doesn't listen or talk, the whole visit takes abt 10minutes tops. And I requested to go on a particular medication that I was on all my life & he asked for proof that I was diagnosed & on that medication (which I did) he wanted to put me on something different & my insurance would not cover it. He wouldn't give me any other medication! He is very uncaring to needs & wants of the patient. Go to a better doctor!!

Overall I am extremely disappointed with the care I have received. Dr. Rizvi is inaccessible. He has no e-mail, web site or the ability to text with urgent issues. Months ago, when on vacation he provided no attending Dr. to attend to my urgent matters. And, to this date he or his staff has not returned urgent messages. I am currently seeking another psychiatrist and/or psychologist to help me cope with my ongoing issues.
