Horrible doctor!
I have been seeing Dr. Hussain for years. Every visit is 5 mins or less and all he does is tell you how horrible you are doing each visit. At my last visit, he pretty much called me a LIAR and told me that I was not taking my insulin. Why would I not take my insulin as a type 1 diabetic?! I have never been so disrespected by a physician before. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Horrible
This Dr is condescending and talks down to you. Only worried about my A1C while the whole time just clicking on his keyboard. I addressed several concerns and was ignored. Just kept say “This just doesn’t make sense”. No kidding, that’s why I’m here. No resolution to the problem. Suggested several pumps but office never got back to me. And watch out for hidden charges they don’t tell you about like charging an additional $100 to read your CGM. Although it’s legal I would think the $330 office visit should cover that! No specific blood work done to try and figure out my dilemma, just kept clicking on his keyboard. Had to ask at 2 different visits about my thyroid. Yes, it was out of whack but I had to advocate for the test. Please find yourself a better doctor.

Complete waste of time. I was sent by referral and when I arrived for my appointment the doctor didn't have any idea why I was there. Told me he was heading out of the country and to get more details on why I was referred and reschedule when he as back in the office. Needless to say I didn't go back and I would not recommend this doctor.

Unprofessional Staff
Moreover, disconnecting a call, after being advised that someone as a staff should follow up with the referring office for additional information, without resolving the patient's concerns, particularly when seeking to become a new patient, is nothing short of an abandonment of their responsibilities. I strongly urge the office manager in this instance need to address these issues promptly and implement comprehensive training and supervision to ensure that all staff members uphold the essential standards of patient care, communication, and empathy that are expected in the healthcare profession. Patients should feel valued and respected when seeking medical assistance, and this experience falls far short of that standard. pt2

Waste of time.
Complete waste of time. I will not go back. I went in and told him my symptoms after being referred to him by my rheumatologist. He did a few blood tests and told me that it was all normal. I had looked at it before my appointment and saw that something’s were out of range. I asked him about it and he said well they are but I’m not worried about it. He told me I didn’t have to come back. I asked him if we needed to follow up on it to repeat it or do additional testing and he said nope. I am so confused. I followed up with an email for additional explanation and requested additional bloodwork and asked if maybe I needed to see a different doctor but he just told me there was no need for any more tests. Now I have more questions than when I started

told me I just had insomnia. When I finally went to a different doctor I realized he did not even run a basic antibody test. That was the complete answer to what was wrong with me.

I went and saw dr. Hussain earlier this year bc my endo informed me they nolonger accept my insurance. He was one that did. I went in and explained all my history, how I felt I was misdiagnosed with addisons but that I felt I had thyroid issues bc I have nodules and my thyroid is swollen. He wrote it all off, said I don’t have thyroid issues or addisons (while also refusing testing of levels for both) and that he felt I was diabetic bc of my weight. (I was 1 yr post partum but not morbidly obese.) he wanted to test me for diabetes and send me for imaging of the nodules ONLY. I promptly left, found a new endo and discovered I have GRAVES DISEASE + a nodule that’s grown over 1.5cm + the hashimotos antibodies ontop of it all. All my thyroid levels were a DISASTER and I needed prompt treatment + heart meds. Do not go here if you want to be taken seriously. I’ve never been so irritated by the lack of willingness to listen and it irritated me even more to find out I was right about my thyroid and that it is infact SWOLLEN to the point it’s visible. Not sure how he missed that with the gentle pat on my throat during his “exam”.

Too Invasive, Not Professional
I saw him when I was struggling with a hormonal imbalance at 14 years old. He performed an unnecessary internal exam and berated me afterwards for being fat. A different doctor was able to solve my hormone problems and didn’t have to cross unnecessary boundaries. The sonogram woman and the GYN both said they would NEVER perform internal exams so young. This is why we have sono technology and blood tests.

Our first visit was good and informative. He was very helpful and seemed to have a good upbeat attitude. Three months later we went back and he seemed like a different doctor. His personality was much more distant and very uninterested in our routine visit. He wasn’t as informative or interested in advising us on a new blood condition my husband just got diagnosed. We left feeling hopeless and wishing he would have given more options. First time not happy with Wise Health doctors. We really liked him at first. Now Looking for another doctor now.

He was condescending and rude. He asked me no questions related to the information I provided in my medical history. He didn't perform a physical exam. He refused to run simple labs. He said, "I don't know what could be causing all your symptoms." He tried to imply that my symptoms could be caused by my medications. So I asked which medications he was referring to. He named medications I've been prescribed for over 10 years for migraine headaches and multiple sclerosis. The symptoms I was there to see him about all began within the past 12-18 months. HE ASKED NO QUESTIONS ABOUT MY SYMPTOMS. HE REFUSED TO RUN LABS OR PERFORM A PHYSICAL EXAM. HE DID NOTHING TO RUN A DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS. HE ALSO REFUSED TO ORDER A CORTISOL LEVEL, EVEN WHEN I REQUESTED IT. I WOULD RATE HIM A NEGATIVE NUMBER IF I COULD. HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO DIAGNOSE, TREAT, OR REFER ME TO ANYONE. HIS BEHAVIOR WAS A DISGRACE TO THE HIPPOCRATIC OATH. DON'T SEE HIM. FIND A BETTER DOCTOR.

My husband was brought into the hospital for a ketoacidosis attack and Dr. Hussain was one of the doctors that came in to see him. This is actually the second time we have met him and I have to say his bedside manners leave a lot to be desire. Not only this, but he causes fear in his patients and manipulates that to try and get his way. My husband is a type 2 diabetic and his levels aren't the greatest, but that is because of our diet and we are well aware of this. Dr. Hussain tried to force onto us that its because he's a type 1, when he's been through many tests already and has been confirmed as type 2. Dr. Hussain has pretty much demanded my husband go on insulin to prevent bad effects, but we are both aware that would make this all worse. I don't recommend this doctor to anyone wanting actual help and clear understanding of their situation.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. He has zero bedside manner. While speaking to him he's rolled his eyes at me several times which is very rude especially for a physician. He's raised his voice at me and told me I was going to die. He has no interest in me as a patient. He undermined another specialist's diagnosis. He has lied to me about test results, confirmed by another doctor. He made me cry then told me I had depression.

He explained my condition and alleviated any concerns I had. I am surprised reading some of the negative comments. He may not be one of those doctors who would say things just to please you, but he knows what he is talking about.

Driving from Denton to Decatur for this doctor was a mistake. What a colossal waste of my time. He has zero bedside manner. The most helpful thing he said was to diagnose me with Hashimoto’s, which I already knew. He offered no insight into it. He didn’t have the ultraosound available to discuss, the very reason for my appointment. Not only did he dismiss my concerns and questions, coldly, he also offered dangerous advice. He recommended I attain a 1000 calorie diet for weight loss. Never again.

After having a 5.8 A1C, he told me i was out of control and my baby would be born with ADHA and other complications. He sent me into labor at 27 weeks because of all of the nonsense. I have had Type 1 Diabetes for 20 years. I have NEVER had anyone speak to me like he did. He is a terrible Dr and a horrible person. He uses fear and lies to manipulate you. My baby is completely healthy and safe. Born with no complications and no issues. Find a different doctor
