Happy with Dr Sandoval
Overall I have found Dr.Sandoval to be pretty good. She is all business and moves right along but does have a good sense of humor. She listened to my concerns and respectfully answered my questions. I always leave feeling like something was accomplished. The ladies at the front desk were polite and pleasant.

shocked at other reviews
I’ve been going to Dr. Sandoval for 15 yrs. I have always found her to be personable, professional, thorough, a good listener & refers to specialists, when necessary. I have never felt rushed, during an exam. At times, when an emergency has arisen, she has fit me in within 24 hours. Her office staff is friendly & polite, & the rooms are very clean.

Worst ever
I think Dr Sandoval was a good physician earlier in her career. She was thorough and fact based and practical. I have been a patient of hers for some 20 years! But she has evolved to a very rigid and critical doctor with a poor bedside manner. She has lost her sense of humor and compassion entirely and it's sad to experience as a patient. I also think I was just not a good fit for her. I lead a busy life as many do. I work in 3 states, travel often and often find myself in meetings back to back. I have experienced countless examples of her inflexibility both with her and her office. They are hard to reach, slow to respond. When an appointment is required it's tough to schedule. And I find myself anxious to arrive on time and speeding to get to my appointments. If you're 4 minutes late she will refuse to see you. Just doesn't work for me. Good luck Dr Sandoval.

Worthlesd
I haven’t been to Dr. Sandoval in over 20 years. She failed to diagnose my thyroid disease and had the audacity to throw her arms up in the air and say, “I don’t know what to do with you.” I sought a second opinion and was told my thyroid was in the danger zone and needed to see an endocrinologist immediately. I had all the symptoms of an overactive thyroid, and she never once tested me! She’s incompetent, at best.

I’ve been a patient of dr Sandoval for about 15 years. She is very thorough during an exam and always gives me enough time to ask questions. I never feel rushed. If I have a question from home a nursing assistant calls back within a few hrs. Office staff is very pleasant.

Find another MD to see. She was insulting, and showed no interest in me as a person, or my current state. She told me that if I was not active, I would be "bigger" then I am now.. NO compassion and unprofessional.

My experiences with Dr. Sandoval over the past three years have not been positive. She shows no interest in providing care when patients are having health issues other than an annual check up. She dismisses symptoms and simply gives the impression she doesn’t care. Like at most doctor’s practices, I’ve had to wait for over 20 minutes past my appointment times to see her. Today was first appointment back in office in over one year and I was five minutes late. She told receptionist she wouldn’t see me at that time and to reschedule. The care is just not there. I was very disappointed as I’m a healthy person and go to the doctor rarely, only when there is a serious health issue which is what I’m dealing with now. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

I've been to Dr. Sandoval twice for a physical exam and will never go again. It's obvious she does not enjoy her job, the physical exam is rushed, and is dismissive of any concerns you may have.

I highly recommend Dr Sandoval. She has been my primary care doctor for nearly 20 years and has always been spot-on with her diagnosis and follow-up. She has never been late for an appointment and takes the time to ask questions to make certain she has not missed anything. One of the good ones!

I have been seeing Dr. Sandoval for over 15 years. I liked that appointments were always on time. I have had chronic UTIs and recently called to ask her to request a test. She said I had to come in first at the cost of $165! So, I ordered my own test from Quest, which is perfectly allowed, and it came up positive. I faxed and also had to drop off a copy of the test results in order for anything to happen. She phoned in a scrip, but it is a poor medication for this problem. I then got a certified letter from her firing me as her patient. Her appointments were always rushed. Dr. Sandoval had a superior attitude at all appointments and made me feel like I was bothering her with my medical needs. I would not recommend her to any friend.

Probably about 25 years. VERY thorough and proactive and referred me to very competent people. Another reviewer mentioned her disrespect for some other doctors. I saw TEENY BIT of that, but interpreted it as her dismissing an opinion that her experience told her was erroneous. She always explains things and listens. Over the years has caught several health issues earlier than usual (the specialists say). One guy said I should thank her for having been so thorough next time. I did, she quickly nodded, and then went back to business. Fantastic doctor.

Don't go to Dr. Sandoval unless you are healthy and have NO medical concerns. If your tests come back normal she does not follow-up with the patient to see if there are additional tests that need to be done to find answers. She needs to retire!

Dr Sandoval is very thorough, accessible and has terrific follow up! I went to see her with a relatively minor, common problem and because of her proactive approach ended up having a potentially serious condition diagnosed very early. She's an excellent example of how important good primary care is.

I would NEVER recommend her. Over the years as a patient she has made negative comments about other doctors for no reason, showing little respect for them. That same lack of respect is shown to her patients. She makes snap decisions without really listening to the patient to hear all the concerns. It is almost impossible to get an appointment when there is an urgent situation. The office staff are not helpful & often dishonest. Call backs with test results are not clear or helpful.
