Warning to George Residents
I was referred to Dr. Pendyala for high liver function tests. At the time Dr. Pendyala looked at past procedures (Abdominal Ultra Sound, Liver Biopsy, Liver blood work) and disagreed with all past medical opinions (possible fatty liver disease) and came up with his own diagnosis (Auto-immunes hepatitis). Dr. Pendyala placed me on a powerful steroid, and said things would get better. Things did NOT get better, and in fact got much WORSE as I started experiencing juandice and was in the early stages of liver failure because of the medication. We stopped the medication, and things started to reverse themselves, but the doctor's explanation as to why things went so horribly wrong was less than reassuring. His explanation, 'I'm a simple country doctor and didn't expect anything like this when I prescribed the mediation'. I'm sorry but that explanation was not satisfactory, as such a mistake could have cost me my health! Be wary for oversimplified & contradictory fast diagnosis's.

Met Doctor Swaroop for the 1st time, for a consultation. I was very impressed. He was friendly, and easy to talk too. Great sense of humor. He asked a lot of pertinent questions and listened attentively to my answers. After only talking to him for a short time....he keyed in on personality traits and correctly confirmed my habits. I felt like he totally listened to what I said, but more importantly, to what I meant. He is astute in "reading" people. I feel very confident with his recommendations. And the office staff is great. Very friendly. I was seen within minutes of my arrival.

Dr. Pendyana made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. He answered all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable with the procedure. He also has a very good sense of humor. A very good experience.

We are educated clients & do research before consulting w/ a doctor just to make sure we understand the situation & to see the possible solutions. When we met w/ Dr. Pendyala, he rolled his eyes anytime we suggested going about the issue a different rout & didn't want to listen to what we had to say. He's a pill pusher & made suggestions based on old exams. Requesting different tests to see what the rout of the problem is not his practice. It's intervention & not prevention for him. Terrible!!
