Dr. Svetlana Sembrano, MD

Highly recommend them if you want to waste your time and worsen your mental health. I never feel so strongly about a service to write a review. But Svetlana did not show up to our appointment — I've waited an hour. They didn't even have the courtesy to message me.

I've never met a more uncaring psychiatrist. She is registered to take patients in many states through MDlive and she confirmed my location prior to the appt. During the appt she asked me very irrelevant invasive questions (like why my mom lost custody of me as a child) for 12 min and then tells me she can't help me because she's not local to me. So what this provider does is she takes a lot of new patients on the portal, makes 350 bucks in minutes then tells people to find a local provider. I saw my local provider virtually as well. WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE? She wasn't rude, but the very first thing she told me was she couldn't help me because she's not in my state. THEN WHY DID YOU WASTE MY TIME AND TAKE MY MONEY?

I had (4) visits with Dr. Sembrano through Teledoc. I needed her as a psychiatrist and for medication management. Each time we had a session I felt she was kicking me off the phone call. She would start by asking me how things were going with my medication and once I had answered she took that as the session was over. She did not use the session to ask any further questions about my history, my current life, what I was going through, my current experience with depression and anxiety, or mood. The last session lasted less than 5 minutes and she was rushing to get me off the call. After that experience I said no more and changed psychiatrists. I would never recommend her. She was insensitive, rude, and disrespectful of my time and mental health.

Doctor wants to be done with the appt before it even starts. Refused to listen to my needs or even consider options. We need better doctors, ESPECIALLY psychiatrists

If I could leave less than one star, I would. Quick intake doesn’t want to listen to your needs, and assumes that she knows.

Quick intake. Not thorough. Very rushed. Didn't follow through despite initial requests to continue my same medication.

I am not sure why she has such bad reviews.... I have been seeing psychiatrists and therapists off and on since I was a child (15+ years) and she is one of the best. Her appointments can be kind of quick but I personally prefer it that way. When I was having such bad panic episodes that ended me up in the ER she promptly prescribed me something to help and it was like a miracle! Follow ups are easy with her and she always remembers what we talked about last time... Again, I appreciate the quick visits as she is not my THERAPIST and is there to help me with my medications... I think some people may get those confused. When I was in distress with my panic she asked the appropriate questions (how do you feel when it happens? what is triggering you?) and took the time to give me the right medication. She also assured me that it would not have a negative effect with the current medications that I am on. I think she is wonderful!

She was very nice and helpful. I had a telehealth visit with her. It was my first one, so I was a bit nervous. She made me feel at ease. I really liked how she handled everything.

I was throughly disappointed with the quality of care. It was clear that Dr. Rose Sembrano had no recollection of our previous meeting, and barely skimmed notes. After two visits and access to all of my relevant medical HX - she still has yet to give a diagnosis. I wrongly assumed that her poor reviews were the result of her line of work. I have a medical background (particularly lab pathology, although she would not know that). I have had the privilege to know and work with physicians of all specialties, and she struck me as particularly callous and ineffective. I will not see her again, and I would not receive her as a provider.

Dr. Sembrano puts my child at ease, and I am truly comfortable with that.

We gave it 3 shots - 4 if you count the appointment we showed up for but the Dr was out & the one my child was reassigned to without notice couldn't see anyone under 16. Every appointment was a bust. Dr. Sembrano wasn't interested in spending anymore than 15 minutes, even at the new patient appt, where we waited more than 1 hour to see her & she pushed us through in 15 minutes without trying to establish a connection. And it only got worse. I don't recommend at all. Horrible experience.

My experience with Her has been positive. She is caring and makes me feel comfortable working with her. She has really helped me and I have confidence in her. she is number ONE with me!

This is the worst psychiatrist I've ever seen. I felt like I was talking to myself. She was always in a hurry to get me out her office She continued seeing me changing my meds. Made me worst than what I was before. Then, decided to not see me anymore because she couldn't get the meds right. What a waste of money and time

This doctor is NOT concerned about her patients. It's all about the money!! She is rude and has NO empathy for her patients! She spends approximately 5-10 minutes and doesn't listen to her patient! Very inexperienced and snobby.

There was very little signage indicating the office location. The office was dated and dirty. The nursing staff was fairly friendly, but they kept the window open the entire time we were there and were discussing client issues. When we were finally seen (after a 2-hour wait), the doctor sat behind a desk with four huge monitors which felt very impersonal. There was very little conversation except for "tell me about her history" and "what medication do you need?". I was extremely disappointed.
