Dr. Sveltlana Burkhead, MD

Dr. Burkhead is a caring and knowledgeable doctor who has a great bedside manner! She takes the time to really listen to her patients and address their concerns. She helped my husband lower his A 1 C numbers, and improve his overall health by offering suggestions that were easy to follow!

I would like know where she go I would like to see her again

Majority doctor are great, but Dr Burkhead is one of the worse doctor.

Dr. Burkhead was very personable l. Caring, and easy to talk to. She listened to all my concerns and took them seriously, referring me to specialists where appropriate. Her assistant was very careful about recording all the medications I was taking, and the medical office personnel were very nice. The main shortcoming is that physicians Medical Group Of San Jose, her medical group, does not have an electronic portal for communicating with her, checking test results, requesting prescriptions, and tracking recorded health conditions and Dr. visits. They also don’t support electronic medical records, which I thought was standard and mandatory nowadays. I would give her 5 stars if not for this shortcoming

Dr. Burkhead cares for the patient as a whole. I'm so glad she's my PCP! She is knowledgeable and comprehensive in the management of my health.

I really like her. She’s super caring for the short time I had her as a doctor. She’s thorough too and made me comfortable, I don’t really like doctors but she was the first one who sat down and actually listened and helped me as much as she could. She also tried her best to explain things.

Svetlana was not helpful, She asked me to go Routine blood test, But did not prescribe any medicines, she called me mean

Dr. Burkhead is one of the most professional doctors I have ever had. She is knowledgeable, up-to-date on research, friendly, and I always look forward to my appointments with her. She has great bedside manner, is a great listener, and really takes time to make recommendations. I would not hesitate to recommend her!

a very thorough doctor...very attentive to your needs..she spends a lot of time with you discussing your medical condition...i like her a lot! she spends time explaining over and over until you could grasp the situation. sometimes we get overwhelmed if we get diagnose for something the first time...and focus on you as a patient...im glad we met her.
