Dr Steinbaum is the perfect doctor for me. In addition to her extensive knowledge base on women's heart health, her ability to ensure (me) the patient that things are manageable if (I) they are willing to do the work to get well. It's not an easy choice to make to change. Confidence, compassion, caring and humanity are more of her special Doctor assets. I've been with Dr Steinbaum for well over 10 years. I have a healthy heart and a healthy attitude about my doctors.

Dr Stainbaum did not take care of my elderly mother at the hospital and offered no help and left her to die because at her 80 years of age she forgot an appointment ! And had 10 month with out visiting her office!!, even doe her office kept refilling her prescriptions, No one Reminded her she needed a new appointment !! Very unprofessional I'm sure if she was someone from the media she would of transfer her Immediately to Lenox ... Thank god for LIJ they transfer her and she's a live !

I was recommended to Dr Steinbaum by a friend, and unfortunately had a bad experience. For both of my appointments, I was made to wait in the waiting room for over an hour. Her office also did not instruct me to fast before taking blood tests, so my cholesterol levels not surprisingly came back as elevated. She then sent an alarming email about my lungs, which was completely unfounded after seeing another doctor. I also have been getting bills from her office for months. See someone else.
