'it's just constipation'
Didn't see the doctor for the initial visit, was with a PA who didn't seem to care about my issue. I was setup to do a colonoscopy to find maybe what was happening to me. I was in pain for months in the RUQ of the abdomen. Did the procedure, saw the doctor after it was done for all of maybe 2 minutes. I was able to get out the question, what about the pain in my upper right ab. 'It's just constipation, take double dose of laxative a day and eat more fiber'. I never got they never called me about my results of the procedure and deferred me to my primary to handle further issues. It wasn't constipation. I was having gallstone attacks of which I need my gallbladder removed. They don't care about finding your problems. They're just a shop for colonoscopy and endoscopy. Nothing more or less. Which that in itself was fine. going on 8 months of pain, suffering, and waiting because it was 'just constipation.'

The Invisible Man
I went for an endoscopy because of swallowing difficulties. The office visit was with a PA, who did not introduce herself. When I came for the procedure, I said my husband needed to talk to the Dr afterwards, because I wouldn’t remember anything. I was told no, they don’t allow that. When I was wheeled into the procedure room, I asked if one of the two men was the doctor. They got a big laugh out of that and told me who they were, tech and nurse anesthetist. Then, I was put to sleep. The nurse woke me up, hurried me to get dressed and out the door. They said I had GERD, and prescribed something. The images they gave me had no name or date on them. I never had a sore throat of any kind afterwards, which seemed odd. I asked about biopsy results, when they didn’t contact me. They told me to go to the patient portal. That diagnosis was “OK”, I swear to God. I was told for questions, I could make an appointment ($) and talk to him. I never laid eyes on him at any time, as far as I know.

Excellent Doctor! Don't believe negative reviews!!
Dr. Tibrewala is the only doctor that has been able to diagnose my symptoms correctly as Celiac disease. He instructed me on my first visit that he was certain that I would feel better if I started eating Gluten free. I followed Dr. Tibrewala's directions and my symptoms disappeared immediately! Dr. Tibrewala was very attentive, caring and understanding during both of my visits with him. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Tibrewala. If you are looking for a Gastroenterologist that you will actually look forward to conferring with, then I can definitely recommend Dr. Tibrewala.

No Concern for Patients, Only Payment.
What stood out to me during my whole procedure (endoscopy) was his total lack of concern or care for my questions. He acted like he just wanted to get it over with. He also misdiagnosed me with gerd. I will never be back to his office and I will never recommend his office to anyone.

Didn’t help me one bit. Didn’t seem to care or listen to my concerns and problems. Nothing was resolved and I’m still fighting paying bills from only one hospital visit. Last time I went I waited for hour and half before he showed up! I repeat didn’t help me one bit! I’m still having all the same issues, probably even worse than they were to begin with. It’s getting worse cause I can’t get any help.

I recently had a GI work-up including an Upper GI and Lower GI Endoscopy ( EGD and Colonoscopy) by Dr. Tibrewala at Marion Surgery Center. The facility was very nice and neat and the entire staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Tibrewala was really great. The procedures were completely painless and my recovery from the procedures was swift and entirely uneventful. As a physician in the area for many years, he is the GI specialist of my choice for myself, my family and my patients.

Went in for colonoscopy/ possible hemorrhoid banding. Doctor disbands at once very close each causing me a horrible amount of pain. Then when I told him I needed day off of work because of the , I was pretty much told I was being and that I should be just fine. Doctor never even talked to me after the procedure.

Do not waste your time with this doctor. He doesn't listen to you, he interrupts and is rude. I left there with no answers, called another doctor for a second opinion and within weeks the new doctor fixed me. I am still getting odd bills from Dr. Tibrewala. I paid one in full then a month later I get a note from ACME Collections telling me I owe a late fee. Never once did his office call me to ask about a follow-up to the prescribed medicine or billing. One of the worst offices I have been to.

This man is NOT even close to being human. He was responsible for a surgery, "a simple procedure" that resulted in my husband being airlifted to St. Louis University Hospital ICU and 5 months recovery. Never heard or seen him after being told there might be an incident, to not leave after the procedure.

Never met Dr until after the colonoscopy. Did not see him on office visit to setup colonoscopy. I am ASSUMING that I met with the PA but not really sure since she never introduced herself. Maybe she was too busy answering call on her cell phone after she was in the room with me. Not a comforting first visit. I was not happy with this visit Actual procedure was done at a local surgery center that impressed me to no end! Very clean and organized. (Everyone introduced themselves)
