Dr. Susheel Dua, MD

Dr. seems OK however, the association to Northside Hospital creates major billing issues. Because his only offices are in a hospital, you will be double billed…once for the office visit, which in my wife’s case was a copay, then once again for the hospital facility. Nothing but a money grab and it’s my understanding this doctor is the Medical Director. If that’s the case, seems he should have some latitude in changing this since it is not a common practice. I would suggest finding a doctor who has a freestanding office outside of the hospital.

After two major surgeries, a month apart, I went to Dr. Dua looking for help with my reoccurring pain. I still have renal cancer, and I am still experiencing severe pain from both surgeries. After a very short time, and after following every word they told me to do, Dua took me off of my meds, and offered only an extremely expensive, extremely addictive, super dangerous pain patch. After waiting ALL day from 8 am for them to even send it to the pharmacy for me to even find out how expensive it was, I called them to tell them I couldn't afford it, and they not only left me hanging all weekend, but I had to call them back the THURSDAY after! I asked for a different, NON-NARCOTIC pain medication that I could afford, and was flat out refused, and told my only option from them are the expensive NARCOTIC pain patches. If you want a doctor who cares, avoid this office AT ALL cost! I have never had the misfortune of coming across such an uncaring, hateful group of people in my life.
